This Ostrich feather duster is the best feather duster I’ve ever owned. The fluorescent colored ones available at grocery stores just do not compare. The feathers on this duster are longer, softer, and more flexible, allowing you to dust more sensitive spaces without knocking objects about. Additionally, the fine little hairs of each feather seem to get further into cracks and crevices removing more dust than the stiff, lower grade, dyed feathers of store bought dusters. This feather duster just looks nicer. I am not embarrassed if I leave the duster out and a guest sees it. The natural feathers are so much more attractive than unnatural dyed ones.I have owned my duster since 2012 and am just now leaving a product 4 years later in 2016, because I still have this duster. Yes, it is that wonderful and long lasting! If it starts to get dusty looking, I wipe it down (the whole bunch of feathers at once) using a microfiber cloth, and it’s renewed.I enjoy writing product reviews since I base so many of my purchases off of the reviews of other shoppers and hope my review was helpful to you in your purchase decision.

I clean office buildings for a living and purchased this duster back in July of 2012, I have just ordered a new one! This duster has lasted me nearly a YEAR with daily use and has only JUST recently started shedding feathers. It does a wonderful job of holding the dust, has beautiful, thick and full feathers that are so soft at the ends that I am able to dust around client nick nacks on their desks without disturbing a thing! I literally, could NOT be more pleased with this duster!

I've been a professional house cleaner by trade for over 20 years and I have looked long and hard for good feather dusters. Based on my success with Amazon purchases and the other reviews I read on this product I decided to take a chance. Purchased from "WayFair" this feather duster is not a stand out by any means. It is wimpy, has very few feathers and feels like it will fall apart as soon as it's used. I don't understand the other reviews on this page-all I can think is the product line must have changed.

As soon as I opened the box the fluffy ends of the feathers started falling off, wouldn't fluff up to save it's life. Not very pleased, certainly not what I expected. Oh well, live and learn.

I purchased this feather duster because of it's size. I have a small duster to do surfaces and around items on tops of surfaces, however I wanted something big to do the faces of furniture, doors and base boards. I was a little surprised when I got it that it was not as full as I had hoped however, that worked to my advantage. Because it was stiff, I can be a little more aggressive with squeezing it into areas and has not really fallen apart as of yet. I did however do not believe the quality warrants the steep price.

Works well for dusting and does not shed at least for now. Hangs in kitchen for easy access.Seems much more environmentally safe than all of the wipe products.

Shipped fast. Excellent overall - no feather loss - wide, fluffy, soft. High price worth it, and I have very little need to dust. Excellent choice if you need to dust a lot. Should be a long laster. Won't knock over items you're dusting. wide duster as per specs, but easily dusts smaller spots. Shipped in long mailing tube, so no damage. UPDATE couple months later -- still EXCELLENT duster...no feather loss....I show it off in clear view as looks so great. I doubt you can find a better duster, home or commercial use. UPDATE -- After seven months, have never lost a feather - looks like when was new ! Brownish feathers spread between 3-15 inches, to get small or large areas. Perfect for dusting bald scalps, lol. UPDATE Dec 2013 - still as good as new...and no feather loss. UPDATE April 2014 -- perfect...like new..no feather loss...display on my lamp pole, when not using, as "looks great" !

You can always tell the difference between a cheap feather duster and a professional well made one. I used to clean houses for a living and this is the type I always favored. You can dust gently around the most fragile objects without having to always pick up each thing. No feathers drop... Saves time when dusting by 2/3 rds.
