More Volumes Please
Do the few crude (and absolutely hilarious) jokes make this book inappropriate for children? Perhaps. That depends on the individual child. Only responsible parents can make that call regarding the entertainment permitted in their home. With that being said; these stories are exceptional fun and enjoyable to read. With over 52 volumes existing in the original Japanese language this English collection was long over due. I’m very much looking forward to more chapters being translated in future volumes. Furthermore; it should be clearly understood that this is a Manga series that reads right to left as the traditional Japanese does. The book is not printed backwards.

Mario Graphic Novel
The media could not be loaded. This book is printed in black and white. It is in English. Overall it is an easy read and prefect for any Mario fan. The illustrations are great and the print quality good. You can expect to find your classic characters from the video game and they go on a new adventure.

Wish It Was In Color
Good boon for a Mario fan, but all the pages are black and white. My son was disappointed that nothing was in color.

A wonderful collection of goofy Mario stories
It’s a great little best of collection of the long-running Super Mario-Kun series that’s been translated to english for the first time. I’d say it’s definitely more geared towards adult fans though with the humor. It’s a traditional manga, read from right to left, and the pages don’t feature any color. I love it to death, because I knew exactly what I was getting into, but that’s something to keep in mind if you’re getting this for a gift.P.S. If you’re looking for something for younger children, or even just more in line with traditional comics, the Super Mario Adventures comic collection is in full color and is also pretty fantastic as well.

It finally arrived!!
If you read this in a western- American format, your first page will say "STOP! You're reading this wrong." Just like in all other manga books..This is read in usual manga format, which like in Japan, they read their books from right to left. As the front cover literally says, 'Manga'.It's a good read, there are story contents from various games. Had lots of fun reading about the characters. This book has many volumes in Japanese but this one is the first that came to the US in english!!! So happy that Super Nintendo World is opening up next year, immerses yourself in the kingdoms!

Know what you're buying!
This book is a English translation of a long running Super Mario manga series known in Japan "Super Mario-Kun". This is the first time these stories have been brought over officially in English. This book doesn't feature everything found in the Japanese manga, but I wouldn't expect a single book to anyway. For Mario fans interested in finally reading the Super Mario-Kun manga in English, this is a great buy. Now if only we can get more of the series translated.

Super Mario Manga is a great Manga book.
Super Mario Manga Mania is great book. I ordered it before Christmas and it arrived before Christmas. I like how the book says at the bottom of some pages which Super Mario game it is referencing in the manga. I have played many Super Mario games. This book is read from the back to the front. I like manga.

I love it!!!
I'm a big Nintendo nerd, so this was right up my alley! 🍄 Back in the early 90s, CoroCoro Comic started running its own Super Mario-kun manga. Then they finally released this English adaptation. It's only a release of some of the stories from the Super Mario-kun manga series, hand-picked by author Yukio Sawada himself. In short, Mario’s a jerk! Most of the time, the characters are very shallow and immature. Super Mario-Kun is a gag manga. Everyone in the manga is a humorous caricature of their source material. The artwork is delightful to look at, being drawn in a very over-the-top chibi style that works well for this type of manga. Different Mario games, including Sunshine, Galaxy, and Paper Mario inspire the stories.
