Works just as advertised
I've been struggling to get audio out of a PA system and into my cell phone for a conference call purpose. I've tried making my own cables going into the headphone/mic jack, but had difficulties getting the conference call to recognize an external source/mic. I plugged this cable directly from the output of a mixer, then into my Samsung phone's USB-C connection, dialed into the conference call. When I dialed in from another phone, I could immediately hear the test music coming from the mixer. This will be great for my application!

Low quality cable
The cable itself is very cheap and low quality. The cable dose not pull enough power for use of a decent microphone. It smells burnt after I plugging it in and itโs all plastic casing. Do not buy this

Excellent sound recording
It works really well with my S-10 and a Schneider MKE 600. It clearly gives me an alternative to my high-end cameras when they're in the shop.

Does not work when plugged into laptop
I've been trying to use my at2020 with this connector and all I get is a loud ringing when hearing my microphone playback. My mic works perfectly when I use my audio mixer xlr to xlr, but when I use the usb-c to xlr wire to connect directly to my laptop it just does not work. Disappointed.

Does not work with iPad Pro
This item does not work at all with iPad Pro. The iPad recognizes the microphone as a speaker rendering it useless when plugged in.
