The smell is so intense. Seal the bag back up - and nothing, no smell again. If you have anything that is really smelly and you want to keep the smell from permeating everything else, these are the solution. They really really do what they say they do. Ziplock is a little awkward. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Kept the critters away *by M***I on June 14, 2016* I accidentally ordered these huge bags, but they worked well for our backpacking trip. We had no issues with insects, or creatures large or small. Sealed well and were durable enough that I will be able to reuse them several times. Easily fit 3.5 days worth of food for two adults and a child, with tons of room to spare.
