Question 1

Do you sell a sealer for a R.V. plactict or whatever a waste holding tank is made of ?

Accepted Answer

you would have to contact them direct, this sealer is for metal gas tanks and I don't know if it would work on plastic.

Question 2

I have a toyota camry 1997 and the gas tank started leaking drops of gas when my car is on. Will this seal work on my gas tank? its a metal gas tank

Accepted Answer

Yes and no it could definitely but I would be worried about the hole getting bigger after rust or further cracking depending on what happened . I would suggest putting some tank safe jb weld then using this. for your gas tanks you will need the 2 quart version of this . here are some links to read up on it I hope it helps. https://www.kbs-coatings.com/tank-sealer-flow-chart.html https://www.kbs-coatings.com/how-much-tank-sealer.html https://www.walmart.com/ip/J-B-Weld-8217-J-b-Autoweld-Gas-Tank-Repair/52510066?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=1330&adid=22222222227045949347&wmlspartner=wmtlabs&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=c&wl3=95409016250&wl4=aud-261800281660:pla-217979583890&wl5=9018402&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=100362769&wl11=online&wl12=52510066&wl13=&veh=sem

Question 3

A lot of answers on the FAQ say that it covers 3-4 gal tank. i have a 5 gal tank, do i need two cans or just one?

Accepted Answer

I used 2 cans For my 5 gal tank

Question 4

can this product be used to repair a crack in the bottom of a 1200 gallon plastic water storage tank?

Accepted Answer

I used this after the rust blaster to coat the inside of a motorcycle metal fuel tank and it worked great, but for your 1200 gallon tank, I don't think this will help at all as it is more of a coating than a crack repair and you would need way to much of this product to even try. I would search for another product for your repair.
