This ship is just awesome. The model looks amazing. If you are a Rebels fan, this ship is a must have! As far as gameplay, it’s an imperial beast! It will run circles around enemy ships packing a huge punch! The game will only let you bring Two tie-defenders because they are THAT powerful. I recommend you get two by purchasing the Academy 3 ship squad pack and then purchasing a second tie-defender stand alone. You will then have all the pilots to choose from! Including Vader!

Just got this delivered today! Received ahead of scheduled delivery date and in excellent condition. This is just awesome! Who can’t resist the darkside and join the Empire! The details on this TIE Fighter is Amazing! I just got into X-Wing after being an avid collector and eventual player of Armada. I decided to get the Core Set while prices have dropped significantly over the last few months, as things are transitioning between FFG & AMG. I was just blown away with the details of the ships and tried out an initial game. I loved it! So I immediately ordered these three ships and will be investing in an additional Core set. For the cost, a second Core Set just makes sense financially, as your getting two additional TIE’s, another X-Wing, dice and everything else for just $32-$39, as opposed to $70+ purchasing them individually. And face it, there’s never enough dice, when it comes to FFGames!

As a fan of the Prequel Star Wars movies, I've always loved the Nubian N-1 Royal Starfighter. It was sleek and beautiful and so is this miniature. I normally collect and play with Armada but since this fighter only exists in X-Wing, I bought it. Also love the attention to detail using a red R4 astromech since they were small enough to fit into these fighters, unlike the lore inaccurate portrayal in The Phantom Menace where R2 somehow fit into that space. Great job on FFG for that detail. As for gameplay, I do not play so I wouldn't know but there is a review for this ship talking about it.

As I understand, most folks buy the TIE/ln expansion for a handful of pilots not available in the Core Set, "Howlrunner" chief among them. If you fly Imperial⁠—and especially if you fly swarms of cheap TIE Fighters⁠—you should strongly consider purchasing this expansion for anything under $20. A slight warning, though: not all of the models are perfect. I forget it it came from my Core Set or the TIE/ln expansion (the ships are identical), but one of my TIE/ln models had wonky wings, set maybe ten degrees off as viewing the ship from the top. While it's still completely playable, it's a bit of an eyesore, and I plan on using it to practice miniature model painting. (Better to make my mistakes on a wonky model than a pristine one!) In short: the TIE/ln expansion is worth your time, but have that proof-of-purchase ready if you notice anything glaringly wrong with your model.

This is indeed the 2nd edition Tantive IV. On arrival, the box was a bit scratched and a dome had popped off of the ship, but the dome snapped back in fine and nothing else was damaged on the ship. After a week of having it, it still holds up and sits in the stand fine. Second edition pieces are a bit better made than my first edition pieces and the cards are bigger "standard" card format. I can't attest to the state of this ship in Fantasy Flight's app, which seems to be a point of contention for another reviewer, but the ship and its cards are all fine.

The TIE Interceptor is a great addition to you Imperial Squadron for X-Wing 2nd edition. The figure looks great and has great details for a pre-painted miniature. "Join the Imperial Navy."

They look great Came in early Slightly over priced though, felt I was being gouged.
