Works, but requires diligence and patience. Not a one shot cure for crabgrass!
Does fight crabgrass. Still, you're in for a battle. Crabgrass is grass, so it's tough to kill separately from your beloved lawn grass. Timing is everything - early in the spring, hit it BEFORE crabgrass can start to emerge and take hold. I hit it again in a couple/few weeks. It seems to work better as a pre-emergent killer rather than a spot killer for existing outbreaks. I've been at it for about 3 years now, and it's gotten better every year. Where the crabgrass was concentrated, now I have left behind nearly brown, very sparse grass areas. Once I'm sure the crabgrass is wiped, I'll probably scratch it down to the soil and seed.As others will / have pointed out, mix in a little surfactant to allow the mixture to penetrate and overcome the water's surface tension better.

The Crabgrass Killer
I fought crabgrass tooth and nail with no luck ... until I found this product! It works very well. I followed the directions and used a back pack sprayer. This was my first time mixing a herbicide, but it was simple: 2 tablespoons or 1oz of Quinclorac with two gallons of water plus 4 tablespoons or 2 oz of surfactant. My package came with a measuring cylinder. I put one gallon of water in a bucket, added the products, and mixed it until the Quinclorac dissolved. I poured it in the back pack sprayer and added the second gallon of water. I shook the back pack sprayer with everything in it, put it on my back, and went to work. Occasionally, I would swish the water around with the sprayer still on my back to keep consistency. I'm not sure if that was necessary, but it seemed like a good idea and only took a second to complete ... so, what the heck! I was pleasantly surprised to see it worked on all the weeds in my yard. No need to buy the premixed stuff ... gallon for gallon ... this is much cheaper!

Safe on Bermuda seed, kills crabgrass quickly!
I applied this product with a 4 gallon back pack sprayer by adding .200 lbs to 2 gallons in the backpack sprayer followed by agitation and filling to a final volume of 4 gallons (1.5 times recommended concentration in label). My grass type is Hancock unhulled uncoated common Bermuda that was 5 days post germination at the time of application. It did not harm the grass at all as far as I can tell. At this concentration it took approximately 5 days to fully kill my large hairy crab grass. It dose not appear to have had any appreciable effect on my chamber bitters but I also did not add any additives such as MSO or other surfactants which would enhance its efficacy. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because the recommend label concentrations are too conservative in my opinion and a little difficult to convert due to the units. Otherwise this product has been great and seems to be safe and effective to use on Bermuda seed pre and post germination in the yard.

Not a miracle worker ,but works like a charm .
I purchased this ,quite some time ago. I can gladly state the this has worked like a charm, and no Its not a miracles all mighty weed exterminator, but it does its work perfectly killing most of them, like the helliuos Crabgrass, and this without hurting my Bermuda Grass, a full spoon per gallon of water has being more than enough ,well so far . For ( yerba de bruja ) the pain in they arch tall weed grass that I call( Witch Grass ), combine this with Glysophite ? or RoundUP. Caution spray on not windy days ,If a bit breezy use with wind blowing at your back use gloves and face sheild.

Best product ever for established crabgrass!!
Let me start by saying that I don’t do many reviews. But this stuff is the absolute best!! Don’t know why there are 1 stars. I used a plastic spoon and added three spoonfuls per gallon. I put in granules first then added water to dissolve. Also added some Trimec 2,4D amine for other weeds, 6oz per gallon. Sprayed it on fairly heavy. Did not mow 2 days before and waited three days after per instructions. As you can see from the pictures this stuff rocked!! It definitely leaves orange/brown spots where the crabgrass has died. I sprayed the lawn 2 weeks ago. Took about 1 week before I started seeing any changes. I’m going to do second application to get what I missed first time. Highly recommended.Added another picture after I sprayed a second time, 3 weeks after the first time. This stuff is a crabgrass killer. Very happy

Stuff works great. Saw initial results in 2 or 3 days.
It is best to take the amount of the dry formula needed and dissolve it first in a container before adding it to your sprayer. I used an empty 20 oz bottle with water to dissolve the 1 Tbsp I was using for a gallon of mix. I had to rinse the 20 oz bottle a few times to get all the residue of the Quinclorac out of the bottom. I tested a 1000 sq ft area and it did an excellent job of killing off the crabgrass. The yellowing of the crabgrass was noticeable 2 or 3 days later. My next door neighbor is a lawn care professional, and told me to make sure I didn't over do it, since this product is strong. As a plus, it also seemed to kill the clover I had in the same area I sprayed. Going to do the rest of my yard tomorrow.
