A Self-Study Guide for the ISTQB Agile Foundation Exam (CTFL-AT)

This is certainly a better resource than trying to learn from the syllabus alone and can effectively take the place of training courses that cost hundreds or thousands of dollars, at a fraction of the price. Not necessarily a great practical guide for day-to-day use, or a good introductory resource for absolute beginners, but a good reference for the certification test that covers most of the terms and concepts involved with modern software testing.

I found this book to contain highly pertinent information. The practice exam was also very helpful.

A very good guide for starters, intermediate level and for experienced professionals too. Has lot of use cases with focus on details . Would like to recommend.

This is a good book providing an excellent explanation of all the exam topics in an easy way. Each chapter is well structured with all-important definitions highlighted at the end of the chapter for easy reference. There are sample exam questions at the end of each chapter and a full mock test in the last.I only used this book and cleared my exam.

When doing ISTQB exams, I usually like to pair a book with a training video. This book is organized in a way to follow along nicely with the syllabus. But there were frequent misspellings and context issues that made it difficult to read. For example, the image listed above had me googling what a "Test Base" is, when what they meant to say was "Test Basis".This issue came up in practice quizzes as well. I often spent more time trying to figure out what the intended question wording was than what to correct answer should be. Lastly, the explanations to question answers were pretty lazy and gave no context, simple (This is the wrong answer because it's the wrong answer, this is the right answer because it is the right answer).

Excellent self-study guide with use cases and key notes, good questions and clear explanations.

Well structured book. The book covers syllabus and concepts for ISTQB AGILE foundation exam very well. Illustrations and questions on topics are really helpful. Would recommend this book for anyone having interest in agile testing.

For People who are taking an ISTQB exam and interested in the journey of Agile transformation, It’s highly recommended.Readers can gain knowledge of Agile and different type of questions regarding ISTQB exam. One of the things that was especially interesting was that there were no complexities to understand and it was really helpful. Reading this Book helped me to get the mark 37 out of 40.
