This book is very helpful for young people learning to write.

"Lowercase Letters" focuses on the proper writing of lowercase letters. Each letter page shows the child the appropriate way to make the letter, then gives them several traceable tries where each one of the lines gets lighter. Then, the dot disappears, allowing the child to trace part of the letter and finish by themselves until the child writes the letter themselves. The opposite page for each letter presents the child with a fun little activity that goes with the letter. Some words start with the letter, but only the first letter is missing, and the child will write the letter in front of the word.

The low-case letters are a good idea for little children who are starting out in writing letters. The activities with those look like a lot of fun. Many preschools should have this workbook in all their classrooms.
