Much cheaper than any other source and worked great!

Seems like an authentic part but did NOT fit Maytag refrigerator model MFI2665XEM7. This replacement did NOT match original Part # W10498990. It looks identical except for the mounting bracket placement. The photos are my original and the replacement side-by-side and hopefully you can tell the difference in the brackets.

Part was shipped right away and easy to install into my whirlpool refrigerator. Fit perfectly and is working well.

Merchandise arrived as promised. removed the existing Valve solenoid. When I tried to fit the product into the back panel the mounting arm is in the opposite position and will not fit. No response to date. Waste of money if not a correct fit.

Great price when compared to local part suppliers. They were between $75 and $90 and STILL had to order the part in! In reality, the "local" suppliers just use a "local" phone number, which is either routed to an out of state supplier, OR the local vendor gets on the internet and buys this part and upsells it for about 400% more. I figured I might as well order it myself, get the part in the same amount of time and save a lot. Worked out well. :)

Not a direct replacement for W10342318. The mounting bracket is angled on this item, whereas the 2318 is straight.

Our refrigerator started making small ice cubes and it took forever to fill up a glass of water using the front water and ice ports. After some research I learned that the water valve may have failed. I purchased this Primeco compatible water valve and installed it in minutes. It instantly fixed my issue and 6 months in we still have amazing water pressure and full size ice cubes! Recommended.

The OEM one was considerably more expensive, I thought I would try this one because of the price. The mounting bracket wasn’t the same but it was easily modified to mount to our fridge.Another good deal from Amazon.
