Dr Beckmann Stain Devils Grease, Lubricant & Paint Remover (2 x 50ml)

Bought to try and salvage an expensive pair of outdoor trousers I'd got dirty engine grease on, while working on Land Rover. Engine washing hadn't worked at all. Trousers were light tan coloured, so wasn't hopeful. But followed instructions and applied liberally, then machine washed. And am amazed the stains are gone, but without taking the colour out of the fabric.Good stuff.

Great at removing stains from the carpet after painting the walls. The bottle is really small, but you don’t need much.

Great product use all the time to get rid of grease marks on clothes

This removed some sort of oil stuff my child got all over her joggers.Unfortunately its a very small bottle so used it all on one item and It STINKSApplied it to the patches left it 15min before putting them in the washer.Had to wash it 3 times to get the smell off themHAND WASH ITEMS BEFORE YOU PUT IN YOUR WASHER, IT LEAVES THE WASHER SMELLING DISGUSTING.

Gloss paint somehow got on my Montane down jacket. As it is made of very fine fabric I was scared to use turps so, after emailing the manufacturer Montane, I bought this Stain Devil and followed the instructions. I didn’t leave the remover on for 15 minutes as after dabbing the paint, it lifted off and I saw no need to leave it standing for 15 minutes. I followed Montane washing instructions and voila! One as new down jacket. I couldn’t be more thrilled.

Didn’t work- don’t waste your money!

I got a really bad lubricant oil stain on my brand-new Spyder ski jacket, so I thought I would do some heavy duty in-depth research! After trawling the Internet and Which, the three best recommended products were Vanish Gold Oxi Action, Lestoil and this Stain Devil. All three are sold on Amazon and you can google them and see the good reviews that all three cleaners get.I set my ski jacket on the kitchen table and went to work. All three stain removers work as a pre-wash and I applied all three as per the instructions onto three separate sections of the ski jacket. Without doubt, the Stain Devil was the best performer. The other two were not bad, but the Stain Devil removed the whole stain literally without a trace. I didn't expect for the stain to be removed completely and therefore after another application of Stain Devil, my ski jacket is like brand-new again. I am thoroughly impressed and just had to write this review to recommend this stain remover to anybody who really needs one. :-)
