GREAT product. A must have for all you kids bikes!
Excellent product. We bought several of them to put on our kids bikes since they are often riding their bikes around the neighborhood at dusk. The strobe setting is primarily the one we use as it allows cars to spot the kids easily. I purchased these since they are rechargeable and it was inevitable that one of our kids would leave it on all night long and run the batteries down. They charge via a USB port.To charge the light, you simply unscrew it from the dock that you can leave on the bike. That makes it easy to remove and charge without busting the rubber band that hold it onto the bikes. We've been using these for about a month now and have no complaints.Beware, that some of the devices been updated and behave a little different than older versions of this product. We originally thought that we had a couple "dud" when we bought these, but later discovered they they would only turn on by holding the button on for a few seconds. The others didn't require that.

I have charged the light as described below (charging tips included in the email received) and was very happy with the flashing
I responded to an email that i received regarding the purchase of this light on 1/9/16. I have not gotten any response. Below is my issue:I have charged the light as described below (charging tips included in the email received) and was very happy with the flashing mode. It was nice and bright. After I used for the first time, I turned off the light and left the light on my seatpost. The next week I was going out early and when I attempted to turn on, nothing happened. I figured maybe I left it on, but I do not believe so. I charged again and used on my next ride. I made sure it was off, when I went to take out again about a week later, the same circumstance occurred. I used each time in the flashing mode for around 2.5 hours each ride. Not sure if i just got a defective item or that this does not hold a charge in general...... Would like to hear from the company.

easy to attach and remove for charging
This was just what I was looking for - bright LED, easy to attach and remove for charging, and a good price. However, the construction of the USB charging port is very poor. Excellent customer service - I contacted Chris Evans about how the charger would not light up and they sent a replacement immediately. The replacement charger port was also poor, unfortuantely . It will recharge but I have to wiggle it to get the green light to stay on, and then gently set the light in just the right position while charging. The slightest bump or movement will cause the charger to lose contact. It does recharge quickly, but I would not recommend this model unfortunately. I do recommend the seller.

but the poor engineering quality means that the button presses don't always ...
Poorly constructed from the get go, after just a few months of occasional use it won't hold a charge at all. The lens serves as the switch to actuate the light, but the poor engineering quality means that the button presses don't always connect or the button gets stuck in a depressed state. It's inexpensive and relatively bright when it works, so I'd be willing to tolerate the manufacturing idiosyncrasies if the battery had held up.

Great light for the price.
I purchased this light for my child's bicycle and I'm impressed with the build quality. There is a green LED indicator while the unit is charging and a red LED indicator once it has finished charging. The unit comes in three pieces (rubber strap, base, LED housing). The LED housing has a small o-ring to keep it water tight. I would suggest applying a small dab of food grade grease along the o-ring to keep it from folding over on its self and damaging the small o-ring. The light is fairly bright, really well constructed and great price point.

Good light, Solid build, easy to remove when locking bike
Good light. I've used it for a few weeks now. I like feel of how it clicks on. only three modes which are easy to get through and turn it on to the blink you want or turn it off without looking. Feels like It is really sturdy I've only taken it in the rain a few times, but it seems to hold up fine. But best of all is how easy it is to take off the bike, when I take it downtown or leave it locked up for a while I can pop it off in less than a second and toss it in my coat pocket easily. Very convenient, bright light. Works well.

and mounts easily. What more could you want
Bright, long lasting, rechargeable, small, and mounts easily. What more could you want? It's hard to beat this little light. Another cool thing is you can unscrew the body of the light and charge without taking the mount off the bike. Also this is the brightest rear light I have had to date and half the cost as some competitors.

Didn't work properly. Returned it.
Defective. When I plugged it in to charge it, the light that is supposed to come on and indicate it's charging didn't. If I jostled the cord it would come on briefly then go out. Didn't stay on. Returned it. I see a lot of the great reviews are from people who got the product for free or deeply discounted. I think the bar may be lower when you get something for free.
