Does this include both thin and thick liquid safety straws?

The straws are the size of a regular straw that i got and don't allow very much to pass thru. They were frustrating for my husband, so we just take sips and don't use the straw.

can it be used with warm liquid in cup with lid that open/close spout

Yes. We used it with warm liquid such as warm ( not steaming hot) soup as well as cold drinks. Hope it works for you. ☺
