Most brands of beta glucan express the percentage of purity -- typically 70% or 80% -- but I don't see that anywhere here.

I bought this product only once, and didn't notice that no % was listed. My usual brand is Cell Nutritionals by OurHealthCo-op (ourhealthcoop.com). It says "minimum of 70%."

What percentage of this is beta 1, 3 and what is 1, 6?

Our material is a natural form that is in yeast cells: (1,3)-(1,6)-B-D-Glucan. This polysaccharide is not separated or quantified in our material. One study does state that “β-glucans derived from fungi and yeast, which consist of a (1,3)-β-linked backbone with small numbers of (1,6)-β-linked side chains, are essentially known for their immune-modulating effects.” (PMID 24774968) Additionally, our beta glucans has been subjected to several independent university studies (University of Louisville) with generally good results.
