Review: Excellent fan . - I have had this fan 3 years now. It is "fan"tastic 😀😀. I use it in the bedroom as it is quiet 🤫. Of course you can hear a slight hum but doesn't keep me awake . The higher the speed the more the hum increases in volume as is with most fans. You can set the time on it and it circulates air up and down and side to side and at verying strengths.It also has a remote control. I had a Dyson Air Multiplier which the Berssen replaced. It totally outshines the Dyson in its ability to do the job it was designed for. Dyson needs to learn what quiet means . The Berssen is in my opinion is value for money and fits neatly into a room.It was easy to assemble ,is good quality and seems very reliable. I can recommend this little beauty to everyone. I waited for a few years to write this review so you know it has been well tested . I hope to get another 3 years plus out if it. 😃😃😃
Review: Not as powerful as some cheaper fans, but great overall - As usual the reviews on desertcart are not all that useful. So here's some comparisons... This fan is more powerful than the many tower fans i've owned. I currently have a Honeywell HYF260E tower and this Berssen is far far more powerful than that. It also isn't much louder than most tower fans when on the highest setting even though considerably more air is being pushed out, and it's very quiet on lower settings. So if you want something (relatively) quiet that's easily more powerful than most tower fans, this is the one to get. However, if you don't care about noise and simply want an extremely powerful fan, then this might not be enough. For example, this fan is only 30 watt, and i recently returned a 120 watt Pro Breeze 20" floor fan. That was way more powerful, and cost less, but was also stupidly loud so it got sent back. So if you don't care about noise and just want something extremely effective for the absolute hottest summer days, i'd recommend a large 100+ watt floor fan over this one. There's load of them on here typically ranging from £40 - £90. They would also be great for pets, and because of their sheer size and power they also circulate air around the house/large rooms very well. The downside is they completely lack the features and looks of this Berssen fan. They're also not suitable (for most people) when sleeping because of the noise. Noise levels on this fan are very good though. On lower speeds it's extremely quiet and i can't imagine it bothering anyone. On medium speed settings it's still completely fine for sleeping. On the 2 highest settings i can sleep with it on, but it is getting a little loud at that point, so it may be an issue for some. As for the included remote, it's OK-ish but should be better at this price. It's infrared so you have to point it directly at the fan with a clear line of sight. You can't just press a button and expect it to work. The controls on the fan itself are touch sensitive, but unlike many gimmicky touch controls these actually work pretty well. No issues here. Just hope they last. I've given this 4 stars because my main issue is that i'd like a little more power, and it also says this fan has "6.9m/s Powerful Wind". That's got to be false. If you don't know what that means, then all you need to know is that it's more wind velocity than the 120w floor fan i just mentioned, but in reality this is nowhere near as powerful as that. I'd like this fan to be around 50 watt and/or have larger blades, because then it could shift even more air. It may then be louder, but give people the option for those rare but particularly hot summer days in the 32c+ range. Don't get the wrong idea though, this Berssen isn't weak at all and it's far more powerful and effective than literally every single tower fan i've used. UPDATE: It was recently 36c and today it's 35c... And this fan is performing excellent. The heat really gets to me, probably more than most people, but i'm completely cool. It's the only fan that i've owned to achieve this at these temperatures, and because of this i've raised my score to 5 stars.

I have had this fan 3 years now. It is "fan"tastic 😀😀. I use it in the bedroom as it is quiet 🤫. Of course you can hear a slight hum but doesn't keep me awake . ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Silent power at its best

Having purchased this Berssen air fan from Amazon UK , and had it shipped to me here in Mallorca by a friend living in Bristol. After it arrived well packed and protected in the manufactures box , I lifted the fan out of the box, and was amazed how small it was compared to some conventional fans . I set it on the floor in front of my sofa and plugged into my wall socket. Then I looked for the remote to turn it on . Neither bothered it was on . It was totally silent. Could not believe how quite it was . Admittedly it was on the first speed , nevertheless I initially found that satisfactory. Turning the fan to the second speed it made no difference to the sound , it’s was again virtually silent. I started to use the vertical and horizontal oscillation which can be adjusted into any position by the remote control. I also tried out some of the other functions such as the normal, natural and sleep modes again with the remote control, I found the natural mode replicating different types of breezes more to my liking . I did push the speeds to the maximum 8 setting. But even at the maximum speed it was still quieter than a normal speed conventional fan . Just a pleasant whoosh sound that did not drown out the television All in all , I have to say I’m very impressed with this air fan with its various modes , height adjustments and most importantly how quiet it was . Just can’t get over that it’s virtually silent at low speeds . I definitely can highly recommend this new generation fan to anyone. It takes air fans into a different league compared to a conventional fan blowing air from side to side and not being able to oscillate up and down compared to this fan , giving an air shower effect bouncing air of the ceiling to all parts of the room. My only complaint and criticism so far is the length of the power cable. I do feel it’s on the short side . I’m now having to use an extension lead, but that’s not really a deal breaker. But something the manufacturer could take note of. Having compared the specifications of the Berssen air fan , to a similar type of air fan from “Meaco “ . In my opinion this fan is more powerful on paper quieter and better looking than the Meaco , and best of all at time of writing this review , it’s £38 cheaper as well. Due to Berssen summer promotional price . Without doubt you can buy this fan with confidence, I’m totally impressed with it .
