Seat Harness for All Wenzelite Anterior and Posterior Safety Rollers and Nimbo Walkers, 12 x 9 x 1

This is a very sturdy seat. The rating was a 225 pounds, and I weigh 250, and I bounced up and down and in and it didn't give a bit! I trusted to put my mom in any day!

I purchased this product for our special needs grandson, the item did not work for the walker we have. It is undamaged and unused. It did not attach to the walker as needed and we set him in one time to see if it would work anyway, he was unable to position correctly and would lean forward. I reached out to return (not knowing it said on add non returnable) and was told there was nothing that could be done! I highly discourage anyone from using this company anymore due to this. I know of the miss on my end as well, however for it to be unused and undamaged and at this cost that is not acceptable to me. This product DOES NOT WORK for very young toddlers for certain walkers, please be sure to ask your doctor or physical therapist before buying this.

It wouldn’t attach correctly to walker & didn’t know it was not returnable! I thought everything on Amazon was returnable. Don’t buy

I purchased this harness for a special needs adult to use with her young adult gait walker. She has gait and balance issues and often falls forward. The clips broke on the second fall, allowing her to hit her face on the concrete. I am currently looking for a different harness. ALso, there are no installation directions.

I have mild dyskinetic cerebral palsy, and use a wenzelite nimbo young adult walker to assist with my mobility when going out into the community. I recently purchased this Wenzelite Seat Harness to assist with position my legs properly so as to reduce scissoring with my feet, in addition to providing a comfortable place for me to rest while on-the-go (as my muscles tire easily while walking).I received my harness today in the mail, my attendant attached it to my walker (including instructions on where to properly (and safely) attach it onto each style of walker would have been appreciated, as it took my attendant roughly 15 minutes to figure out where to safely position the straps as there are 3 different bars on the back of the young adult walker). I stepped into it briefly so we could practice taking it on and off, and once we got the hang of that, we headed out to Walmart to take it for a test drive.While using it, I noticed two things.1. If I am sitting in the harness and resting my legs, it really hurts. More spesifically where you put your legs. The harness will sharply dig into my pubis area where your legs meet the pubis bone. In order to be comfortable while sitting, I have to put a pillow inside the harness which not only makes me look absolutely bizarre, but makes it difficult to move while walking.2. The straps get loose very easily. Not to the point where you will fall, but you should stay cautious. Be sure to tug on the straps often to ensure that they don’t slip loose. Make sure that they are looped through both clips at least 2 times.Despite these rather obnoxious things to deal with, I still had an absolutely marvelous time in my harness. It was wonderful to finally walk without my legs scissoring. In fact, my attendant said that she noticed if they did start to scissor, the harness gently adjusted them and I was none the wiser. Normally, she’d have to remind me repeatedly, or I’d have to keep looking down to be sure I corrected them.Best of all, I now have peace of mind. Before I got the harness, if I tripped on a curb, raised piece of concrete, etc I would loose grip on my walker and go straight down. Now, if I stumble the harness catches me safely and my walker won’t even lift off the ground.I would recommend this product to anyone who uses a wenzelite nimbo walker.
