Tzevaot was founded to make quality hand pans much more accessible to the world. All of our instruments are nitrided and nitro carburized for a warm sound that is highly resilient against rust. Each of our instruments travels over 10,000 miles to achieve the proper treatments, processes, and tuning. We are located in Los Angeles, California and our doors are open to anyone interested in stopping by just to say hi and play some of our instruments, and if we have any available at the moment, be able to take one home with you. Very intuitive and inspirational. I am a keyboard player with percussion pads that I use to trigger my synthesizers to create drum loops to accompany the keyboards. This is a vey different experience. The sound is much warmer than a synthesized steel drum and the limited number of tones in the peculiar scale is actually very intuitive and inspirational.It is supposed to be played on your lap but I don't really have a lap so my wife came up with a stand from a table. I added the duc-tape to improve the sound. It is very sensitive, when the dog barks it rings a very pleasant sound.The case is amazing, worth $400 by itself.
