I lost a total of ten pounds on this diet even after not following it to a T - I found that with my lifestyle and work it was very hard stay true to the diet as written so I modifyed it to fit my acutal life by flexing meals of more like 500 calories each using the recomended food and workout with cardio and light weights. Since I had product left over I continued on with my diet and lost another 5 lbs so all in all 15 lbs in two weeks I think was great and I would do again. Currently still on reduced calorie diet hoping to lost another 10 pounds.

I was disappointed with the weight loss but I did lose 20-25 pounds. I didn't work out on it at first because people who have not done this cleanse scared me that I was going to die. I lost 10-15 pounds in the first couple days and thought it was awesome and then I stopped losing weight and a few days went by where I didn't lose weight. Finally on day 6 I still felt fine. I started running in the mornings and at nights and cut the extra 10-15 pounds. I wish I had been running the whole time. I think I would have cut more. I did not eat with it. I did do avocados and cucumbers. The first two days were tough. After that it was easy to say no to friends inviting me to lunch or helping myself to my wife's snacks. The 9th and 10th day just got boring Doing the same thing. But overall I liked it. I brought this six months ago and I am buying it again now and figured I would give them the review. I read some of the reviews and it is not magically. No weight loss program is magically u still are going to have to work at losing weight but like I said I dropped two inches on my pant size and some pounds.

Four years ago, I was scheduled to go to the Wigmore Institute in Puerto Rico for a two-week raw foods/cleanse regimen. Frankly, I wasn't sure I could handle it -- so I decided to do a 10-day "trial run" on Purium. I gave up coffee, wine, meat, dairy, and carbs, and was miserable and weak but I lost 10 pounds, spent a few days carefully eating somewhat normally, and successfully completed the Wigmore program (although that was even more miserable). This time, I just got disgusted at my weight and decided to treat myself to a 10-day jump start, again using Purium. This time I'm THRILLED with it. Their Flex foods program seems to have become considerably more flexible, with more items allowed. (Three Flex foods/beverages are allowed per day, whereas IIRC only one was allowed last time.) Also, I decided to keep my coffee on my program, diluted half-and-half with unsweetened almond milk, and called it a Flex Beverage. I found myself being slightly hungry early- to mid-afternoon, so I would mix a cup of frozen blueberries into the Vitamix for the early afternoon Power Shake and call it Flex #2. That helped -- furthermore, it's Really Good that way and takes nearly an hour to finish! Sometimes, at night, I would be too satisfied to even desire the Cherry or Fiber Mix -- but I didn't sleep well without the Cherry juice. Also, I didn't have indigestion One.Single.Time during the 10 days. That has been a tremendous relief! The Super Lytes seemed to contain a ton of sodium, and I actually had a lot of the Ionic Elements ("supercharged fulvic acid; ocean and plant-derived minerals; purified water") left from the previous round, so I used that instead of the Lytes. (Four years ago, the Ionic Elements were taken along with the Aminos, so I figured the product would work just as well as it did last time, and it did.) The upshot is that I still have a lot of the Power Shake mix left -- most of the fiber -- still some Ionic Elements -- and a little bit of the cherry juice. I've ordered another bottle of amino acid tablets. I have felt so good and so energetic this time around that I'm gonna keep going on the 40-day weight loss -- with more flexibility still in terms of Flex foods and beverages. The instructions call for 1-2 Power Shakes per day with 1-2 Flex Meals AND snacks. So my unsweetened almond milk, blueberries mixed into the Shake, juices from cucumbers (unlimited) and the fennel fronds left from the braised fennel bulbs I make -- all of those can be snacks now rather than true Flex items. I'm very satisfied and would recommend this heartily to anyone needing a jump start or a quick 10-pound weight loss. Just listen to your body. Oh, one more thing. In the past, I've scoffed at the notion of a food diary. This time, because I didn't have notes from the last time and the Purium instructions are a little unclear, I decided to keep a detailed record each day of times of consumption of the Power Shakes, Super Aminos, Flex foods, etc. , my weight each morning, and notes about things. I'm going to continue that practice. One more thing (lol) and then I'll shut up. DO have lots of spring water on hand. I went through nearly a gallon a day. One day I ran out of spring water and was too lazy to go to the store -- so for the rest of that day, and all of the next, I relied on tap water. The two mornings after, my weight didn't move. It's great to have COLD spring water from the fridge -- the products seemed to perk me up more by being cold as well. 2026 UPDATE. I had a packet left from my previous orders in 2024 and 2025. It was the shiny foil version, not the cream-and-green matte opaque package. I just started another of my annual cleanses and was dismayed to open the packet to find the thin plastic liner had completely disintegrated into dangerous shards of plastic that would be extremely easy to swallow and very difficult to filter or hand-pick out. To spend this much money on a product and then have that happen was really disappointing. I downgraded it from a 5 to a 3 because of this. I will try ordering a replacement packet today, and will consider updating my review after I open it.

Really happy with the product! This is the second time I've done the 10 Day Purium and it's been great to kickstart me back on a clean eating program. Between taking all the supplements and the shake mix, I have never felt physically hungry. The shake mix tastes really good especially when I use some unsweetened almond or coconut milk, a few strawberries and sometimes a tiny scoop of almond butter. I was especially happy with the way this seller packaged the product. It was sealed and came with an instruction card and the shaker bottle unscrewed at the bottom and had storage for the supplements. Made it super easy and convenient for work. Will definitely do this program again when I need a reboot!

I tried the Purium cleanse as a recommendation from a friend. I was very excited to detox and start fresh. The first 3 days went well. I didn't mind the shakes or flex foods, and I didn't cheat once. I lost about 4 pounds. However, at the end of day 4 I became incredibly ill. I lost all energy, couldn't stomach and shakes, food, or water. At the beginning of day 5 I awoke and decided to integrate some bland foods into my diet and finish the cleanse as it clearly was not reacting well with my body. Within 1 hour of eating "normal" foods I again became ill. I would not recommend this cleanse to others. Maybe it was just my stomach being sensitive, but I was incredibly disappointed with the results.

The purium products overall are amazing and results are always almost guaranteed! This was my 5th time doing a 10 day transformation through Purium. However, this is the first time I bought through a third party instead of directly on their website. I was DISAPPOINTED that when it arrived it was missing the “Biome Medic” which was clearly showcased in the photo for the product! There was no way to contact the seller and Amazon told me there was nothing they can do. So I did the cleanse without it... bummer. Also, I did not have enough apple berry power shake to get through the last 1.5 days! The unflavored is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!! I wish there was a way to select a different flavor with this vendor because I couldn’t get it down so I couldn’t follow the exact way on Day 10. Overall, the purium product is amazing and the results are soo satisfying. You feel lighter, cleaner, sharper. You definitely shed some weight in lbs and more importantly in inches and you tighten up. You go through different levels of energy so just listen to your body and give it what it needs.

Lost 6 pounds. Disappointing. The last 2 days I lost nothing and I was following it precisely. The shakes were horrible. The last day I was gagging trying to drink it. Couldn’t bear the taste anymore. I know other people who have great results. I’m not one of them. Will not use again.

Nothing beats a 10-day Purium cleanse. 10 years+ purchasing their products!
