A friend of mine recently purchased a new car. She wanted to have it coated and I agreed to do it for her as long as she agreed not to take it through commercial car washes or try to wax it herself...less paint correction for me to do and less substances on the paint I needed to remove.She was onboard with my requests and her paint was in really good shape...some swirls and very light scratches, but nothing major. I knew I could correct it with a single light polish and didn't need to compound it first.As an avid advanced detailer, I was familiar with 3D products from the forums, but had not used their polishes before.By the way, it should be abundantly clear from the description that this product is NOT the equivalent of car wax. It has an entirely different function. If you don't understand what it's for, you probably shouldn't buy it.I liked working with this polish. First, it contains no fillers and is body shop safe. Even though it was quite warm in my garage the day I used it, I got more than adequate working time with it. The 3D polish removed the imperfections I had to deal with and left no dust, it wiped off cleanly.That really is all you can ask from a finishing polish.This is a really good finishing polish offered at a very competitive price from a company well known in the detailing industry.

This is a good product to protect your car. It has a shorter working time than beginners may be accustomed to… so you have to work fast and stay on it or the process will be a little more labor intensive. It can be used on its own but from what I’ve read about the 3D products it lasts longer with a multi-step process. It isn’t cheap but a little goes a long way and I’m pleased with the results on the car we are restoring.

My black truck has all kinds of swirls that are super visible in the sunlight and while the paint still looks pretty good, all the swirls were making it look a bit old and worn out. I was very excited to try this polish to clean up those swirls and I was not disappointed.This polish was really easy to use, assuming you have the right equipment. I have a random orbital polisher with various finishing pads. I used this to finish polishing my truck paint and it looks really great now.I have a couple deeper scratches that I will need to use a different grit to buff out then I can finish up the fine details with this polish to get a completely new look. This stuff really works great!

I prefer to use vaseline rather.

My son-in-law used this in his process to polish the hood and roof of my car which had sun damage. He said it worked well. This was one step in the process, but I'm pleased with the results.

It was not crystal clear in the description of how, and when this product is to be used. I thought hey, it's polished, that's the same thing as wax right? Well, here is what you need to know. This is used in a multi-step sanding and painting process. This is a "step 2"...I have no idea what the other step products are but I will convey the instruction as quickly as possible so you may understand and have better success than I.1) "After" sanding marks are removed with the AAT Cutting Compound #501 (not this product which is 502)2) you will USE A BUFFER at 600-1200 RPM and apply this product (502). This product will remove paint "holograms" (AKA micro-scratches in a circular pattern from sanding or aggressive polishing.So, now that you realize this is Step 2 in an unknown quantity of steps, perhaps you will understand the purpose of this product and make better use than I. My average review rating is due to the lack of product description. This led me to acquire the product for the wrong purpose. This product may be the cat's meow for the specific purpose set forth. I may never actually know.
