A Very Misleading Title
This book is all fluff, with very little serious insight toward caring for a Poodle. One of the main reasons I bought the book was to get some direction and advice on grooming. The cover of the book specifically says "Grooming." But, all the book says about grooming is to bath, condition, and brush. There was nothing about clipping, or shaping, or about dealing with matting. In short, there was nothing that I didn't already know from common sense, or that wasn't equally applicable to caring for any other breed of dog. I wanted a nuts and bolts Poodle book, and this isn't it.

if you have this breed or are considering it read!
I adopted a rescue dog a couple yea rs ago. The paperwork only said retriever and terrier mix. I had no ideal what terrier she was till I took her to PetSmart and the manager started petting her which in itself odd! She in part pitbull! That kinda put me off but she's a treasure! Started trying to find out about her background but dead end! This book helped me figure out things. Her looks, mannerism, etc fit the Amstaff breed. This booking is very informational on the breed and what to expect. She's a work in progress but is so loving and delightful! This book really helped understand her breed and being a rescue it was so helpful!

Bought this book and was disappointed, it has very general dog information
Bought this book and was disappointed, it has very general dog information. Adds specific brand name items you should purchase like a puppy apartment from a specific vendor. Very very general information such as dals are high energy, well I did not need to buy this book to know that. No specifics on feeding or training. Super disappointing.

Very disappointing. Not much about TTs.
This is a general owners manual about having a dog. There is very little information specifically about Tibetan Terriers. It is a generic dog owners book and the author put a couple paragraphs about TTs at the beginning of each chapter.Very disappointing

Very disappointed
Very disappointed in the book. It is NOT breed specific at all. It is nothing more than a dog ownership 101 book. No breed info in it at all.

A lot of information
A lot of great information much better than the other books that I’ve read. Not only does it give you background but it tells you how to train a standard poodle

Great book. I purchased because we are a new rat terrier family and I wanted to know more for our puppy. Very useful and I do recommend.

A most helpful little book!
A most helpful little book! We've just acquired a beautiful 9 month old Cairn puppy. The breeder had already done a lot of work as regards show training but welcoming him into an established home with three indoor cats and a deaf, almost 13 year old Spaniel, has been a bit of a challenge. The information in the book has been a great help as regards training, grooming, feeding - can't recommend it enough!

Good book, lots of useful information
The book is great. Very informative; doesnt try to sell you the breed, but more makes sure its right for you. Theres lots of helpful stuff on keeping the dogs well trained and healthy, as well as where to puppies from and how to check they're healthy. I would recommend. Took one star off because there are very few pictures, which can leave it feeling abit dry at points.
