Military Vehicles: A Complete History (Easy-to-Make Models)

This is the second book we purchase.Our 9 year old son loved the first one we got at the store and spent hours building these models.He loved them so much he saved money to order one from Amazon to gift one to his best friend.The models are easy to assemble and they look nice.I recommend this.

Received this for my birthday, and find it very relaxing to build the models. The models are punch out (no cutting required), and are made of nice card stock. Note that these models glue together, and require some patience to get folded and aligned correctly, so they may not work for younger kids without adult help.In terms of glue, I initially used a hot glue gun, but found that it was messy due to the "stringiness" of the hot glue, as well as the quick set time. I highly recommend using Aleene's Original Tacky Glue (available at Amazon, Walmart, Dollar store, etc. - see my picture). Stickier than Elmer's glue, but gives you a little more time to adjust the pieces before it sets.Three models done so far - looking forward to the rest.

Our son loves these books! He has built almost the entire book and we have paper models all over the place. Now that he is mostly done with those he is reading the “book” that is the top part of the book removed from the rest. That’s a nice touch that they laid it out so you could have an actual book and not have to keep the empty press out pages.

Bought this book for 7.5 year old son so he could do some paper model craft. The material is very sturdy of great quality, and he was able to build most of them himself without help.

I love these Thunder Bay Press books. The lithography is superb, as are the designs and layout. There has been no frustration from parts not fitting or being cut wrong. I hope they will continue to produce more.

It's not fair that all the great stuff in the world is made for kids.

Nephew loved this and keeps busy.

I gifted this to my nephew for x-mas. He is into anything military related and this was perfect.
