Made of plastic, not metal
Yeah - these look like metal, but alas, they are plastic. They do have the D shape key where the valve goes in case anyone was curious. It doesn't appear that I can find quality metal handles for my Glacier Bay / Delta/ Delex shower handles.

Classy and clean--much nicer than plastic
We love the look of these chrome handles which we used to replace plastic translucent ones. These now match the rest of the faucet and are not bulky.
