Height and Width of your pet: This pet door opening for the small is 6" wide x 6" tall. The large is a little bigger at 7 1/2" wide x 8" tall. Height of sliding glass door track: The Whiskers and Windows cat door for sliding door does not fit all heights of sliding door, so measure yours carefully. Measure inside your track from the deepest point on the bottom track to the deepest point inside the top track. Choose the size range that your height falls within: 74 3/4" - 77 3/4" or 77 1/4" - 80 1/4".3. Width of window opening: Your window must be able to open 13" wide for the small size and 15 1/2" wide for the large size.4. Track thickness: must be at least 1" thick. It will fit in wider tracks but may need to be secured.
