US Peacekeeper Standard Rifle Case

I ordered the 38" standard rifle case. What I was sent looked more like something for a tactical rifle, not a traditional one. (I own both types of cases.) The photo advertisement of the case is an angled perspective and it's not representative of the actual shape. The seller also offers cases for tactical rifles. I questioned whether the wrong case was sent, and was authorized a return. However, a return requires the purchaser to pay postage/shipping. Might as well keep the case given this requirement.Whether or not the wrong gun case was sent, in my opinion, it is not for a traditional rifle. It is too large and will slide back and forth in the case, making handling other than by the hand grasp, awkward.The bottom gun case in the photo is what was sent as the standard rifle case. The top one is what I had in mind.I'm giving 2 stars. Although my rifle will fit, I will not use the case. The case is too large and a better description and photo of the gun case is needed, if, in fact, the right case was sent.

This case is Very well padded and the straps, and barrel sleeve, really hold the rifle in place. I have a Savage Axis .223 with scope and bi-pod and this fits with plenty of room left over. I did purchase the 53" as I wanted to insure I had plenty of room for scope and accessories. The rifle measured 42" and then another 1" for butt pad. My concern was it being too big and rifle moving around but this is ot the case. Strap position is adjustable for maximum retention. Definite great buy.

I love the case. The is the second US Peacekeeper case that I have purchased, and they are very well made. I particularly like the zippers that they use. Very nice quality. I bought this case for a Rossi RS22 which is listed at 36.25" length. It fits and it is snug. Once you get past the size discrepancy, it is a good bag.

Perfect size for small rifles with scopes/red dots. I find the 1" thick foam more than adequate for everyday use. The large double-zipper tabs make padlocking the case easy.

Purchased as a bag to fit a Stoeger Coach Gun, this is the perfect fit for a fully-assembled coach shotgun. Accurate measurements in the listing.
