I have never had a tool go bad ,, my understanding way back when ,, warranties are for Metrinch itself ,, It is one of the best tools I ever owned ,,, and I own a lot of tools ,, all the top names ,, but use my Metrinch more than any other tool ,, you can do 95% of any job with this tool ,, and it does'nt break ,
