Like then, but would recommend that you avoid.
So I’ll start off by saying I like these lights a lot. They are sturdy, they are bright and they stay low to the ground as opposed to shining upward towards ones face. What I dislike is that I ordered a dozen of these and had most of them work, but did have some issues with some. It working. I emailed the seller, but received a notification from amazon that they do not have the ability to revive emails. So with that in mind, I cannot get a replacement. While I like these lights a lot, I can’t recommend them to others if the company cannot have a chance to correct a malfunctioning product. Hopefully in the future the seller will be able to recieve and respond to questions and concerns. I would give these a 5 star rating if they could do that because I like them that much.

A Really Effective Way to Illuminate Your Driveway - With Update
We saw these path lights at a resort in South Africa, and we were quite impressed with how effectively they lit the driveways and walkways around the grounds. We need similar lighting on the periphery of our somewhat tight front circular driveway here in California, with the goal of helping visitors negotiate the driveway without putting a wheel into the landscaping. So, we ordered 24 of these Happybuy units, which arrived about a week later. This type of light is typically positioned to send light across the pathway. In our case, we positioned them 90 degrees to the typical orientation so that the lights illuminated the edge pavers. (see photos) This works quite well for us, leaving little doubt to visitors as to the location of the driveway edges.Suggestions:After some thought, we decided to position the lights temporarily for a few days to make sure we had the right locations and orientation. This also allowed us to make sure the solar cells would get enough sun during the day to charge the batteries. You should also think about how shading varies during the year. In the overhead photo of the driveway, south is up, meaning there are times during the day when sunlight is more limited. Still, even in winter, we are getting more than enough sunlight to have the light work into the middle of the night. When the lights get a full charge, they operate all night! How the lights should be anchored will vary based on the material on which they will be mounted: concrete, stone, wood, etc. My driveway uses pavers, so I chose to use pre-lubricated ¼” X 1-1/4” concrete anchors. I used an impact drill to create a hole about 2” deep. I then used an air bottle to blow dust from the hole to make sure the screw would not create excessive spreading forces. A socket wrench tightened the screws, using a screwdriver for the final tightening force.A good idea is to place the lights where wanted, then mark only one of the two mounting hole locations. This is especially important if the lights are to be mounted on concrete or stone; getting the drill to penetrate exactly on the marked point is sometimes difficult. So, drill the first hole, then position the light over the hole using a hand-inserted anchor. Now mark the other hole, drill and complete the installation. Some of the early reviewers on these products complained of early failures, and my hope is that I will not see these problems. The units seem very well made.UPDATE: At the 14 month mark, two of these lights have failed, and several other appear to have water penetrate to top cover. I suspect these will also fail. They really do the job well, so I will order a few more in hoped that they have solved their problems. I have reduced my rating to average, as a result. The new units have arrived - I bought the 12-pack - and I am looking them over. There do not appear to be any design changes to make them more weather resistant. Upon investigation, I found that a total of five of my original units had failed. Here's a mystery: one of the units that failed to light was removed. While I was looking at it on my desk, I changed channels on the office TV. When the IR signal hit the light, it turned on. It stays on for about 90 seconds. It repeats this reliably!

Pathway LED
Have problems with 6 leds out of 24. We have 6 led that goes out in just 3-4 hours and the rest stays on till sunlight. I have contacted the seller and he wanted pictures. The first picture has the defective 6 leds. Seller wants to offer credit of $40. But each led cost about $10 each. I would rather get the replacement

Sturdy, bright, run all night, need to seal them with silicone to prevent water leak
These are strong cast aluminum, the lights are bright, and the remain lit all night. Bought in a 12 pack they are much less expensive than the similar (identical?) units sold at home stores. I use them to light my dock. However, they are not waterproof for long! My original set, now a couple years old, failed when rain water leaked in. So this time I sealed the photocell edges and lenses with clear silicone sealant before installation. Hopefully this will prolong their life because otherwise they are a great product.

SOME DON'T WORK
These lights are nice for placing around my inground pool since they lay flat and are heavy enough that they can't be blown around or knocked over.I received these about two weeks ago but didn't put them out until I opened my pool for Memorial Day. I was disappointed that two of them do not work. There is no way to remove the back of the light to check on the battery . These lights are not cheap either. I am debating whether to order more or just make do with what I have and see how they hold up.AFTER THIS REVIEW THE SELLER CONTACTED ME AND OFFERED ME A $20 CREDIT ON THE 2 LIGHTS THAT DONT WORK. i THOUGHT THIS WAS VERY GENEROUS ON THEIR PART.

Heavy Duty Metal Housing
These lights are built heavy duty. Solid housing and completely sealed to prevent moisture intrusion. I charged them in direct sunlight for 10+ hours to make sure they were fully charged before mounting them to my paver wall. The lights remain lit for at least 12 hours.Excellent product and fast delivery! Will purchase from Happybuy again!Followup edit: I have had these in for eight months now. I had one light out of 12 go bad when they were first installed. I contacted the supplier and they replaced it, no questions asked. The others are still working and are still as bright as the day they were installed.

Excellent product. I need to purchase a few more to finish the job.
The lights are installed on both sides on my driveway drilled into the concrete using a hammer drill. Installation was a breeze and the lights are quite bright and do an excellent job illuminating the outline of my long and tricky driveway.

Avoid like the plague!
Purchased a set of four to mark the edge of my driveway. Out of the box, they appeared to be well constructed. Tested the switches and all lights seemed to be working. Although the set included anchors for concrete, I attached them to my driveway using construction adhesive. Initially, worked perfectly - charging fully and lighting up through the night. However, like other reviewers have noted, all lights seemed to have condensation inside them. After about two weeks, I noticed that one of the lights was no longer lighting up at all. I removed it from the driveway and over a couple of days tried to get it to charge. When I cycled the switch, the best I could get was a brief flash of light. Contacted Amazon and they referred me to the supplier. The supplier initially said they would send me a $15 credit and told me to find a local repair shop to service the light. I said no thanks, I want a replacement light. They then offered me a 60% refund and said if I wanted a replacement I had to contact Amazon. I did that and Amazon told me they couldn’t send a replacement, but would be refunding the full purchase. They told me to keep the lights. That’s about as fair as anyone could ask for. My 1-star review is of the lights and supplier, not Amazon. BTW, I noticed last night that only two of the remaining three lights are lighting. This has all occurred in under a month. I definitely won’t be recommending these lights to anyone!!

Difficult installation
Bought 12 of these lights. The button on the bottom “to turn on” the solar powered light does not stick out enough from the bottom. We installed them on a metal dock the first night and none worked. So we thought it was because the button wasn’t depressed enough. So we put a little piece of wood (very thin) on the dock and then installed the lights over top. That night 4 lights worked. In order to get the other 8 lights to work, we tried a pencil eraser but it wasn’t strong enough to depress the button. We had to cut a pencil!!! to insert into the button hole to keep it depressed enough for the solar power to work. Once we did that the lights were very bright and light up our dock nicely. But not worth the hassle for installing.

Easy to install into deck
This is a super easy to install light onto existing docks. The lights are bright, the construction is durable and the price is right. The seller shipped out the lights quickly. As advertised. Very satisfied
