Review: Write well with no smudging - Pens last long, very smooth to write with. I do recommend them, they are worth purchasing. Review: Best Gel Pens on the Market - I've tried all different ink pens, gel pens, even felt tip at times, because I go through a lot of writing with my career of 20+ years. By far, these are superior to other brands and other mediums. They're comfortable in your hand. The color flow is smooth and consistent, without blobs or blotches or skipped lines as you write. They last a long time, even with daily use and the basic colors can be refilled if you choose. Also like the option between fine and medium point to personalize your writing preferences even more. I color code for almost everything, so the basic 4-5 color sets are perfect. For home, I get larger multicolor sets to have a little more variety and fun. Great for doodles on the calendar! :-) My daughter in college and working at vet practice only uses these and has all the other team members using them too! A 12 pack of just blue, just black, just red (whatever) outfits her whole office for a long while. This year, I decided to give the 5 packs to coworkers at Christmas since we're all in the same boat with the volume of writing we do. It's hard to come up with ideas to gift 20 or so people every year!!! These are a great option and a no brainer without offending anyone with a wrong scent, color, flavor, setting off allergies or whatever. Next year I'll probably do "exotic" colors but they'll be Pilot G2 pens for sure! ## Features - Smooth & Long-lasting: Enjoy a smooth writing experience thanks to the gel ink that glides effortlessly across paper; G2 has been proven to be the longest-lasting gel ink pen that allows you to write more (Data on File) - Comfortable Grip: A contoured rubber grip provides ergonomic support, making long writing projects easier - Versatile: Perfect for everyday writing tasks such as taking notes and jotting down grocery lists; The G2 tip delivers crisp, clean lines ideal for writing, intricate designs, drawing, sketching or doodling - Refillable & Quick Drying: Save money and reduce waste by reusing and refilling your retractable pen with Pilot G2 refills (sold separately); The vibrant, quick drying ink helps prevent smudges and smears - Power to the Pen: Express yourself effortlessly with Pilot's line of innovative writing tools, including gel ink, erasable, rolling ball, ballpoint and fountain pens, & dry erase markers & more ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0058NNAM4 | | Additional Features | Refillable | | Age Range (Description) | Adult | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | #158 in Office Products ( See Top 100 in Office Products ) #10 in Gel Ink Pens | | Body Shape | Round | | Brand | PILOT | | Brand Name | PILOT | | Closure Type | Retractable | | Color | Blue | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 out of 5 stars 34,212 Reviews | | Drill Point | Fine | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00072838312990 | | Grip Type | Contoured | | Hand Orientation | Ambidextrous | | Included Components | Refills | | Ink Base | Water | | Ink Color | Blue | | Item Diameter | 0.5 millimeters | | Item Dimensions | 6.1 x 2.5 x 0.5 inches | | Item Weight | 1.8 ounces | | Line Size | 0.7mm | | Manufacturer | Pilot Pen Corporation of America | | Material | ink | | Material Type | ink | | Model Name | 31299 | | Model Number | 31299 | | Pattern | Pens | | Recommended Uses For Product | Office | | Style | Pack of 5 | | UPC | 072838312990 | | Unit Count | 5 Count | | Warranty Description | kkk | | Writing Instrument Form | Roller Ball Pen | | Writing Technique | Rollerball | ## Product Details - **Age Range (Description):** Adult - **Brand:** PILOT - **Color:** Blue - **Ink Color:** Blue - **Writing Instrument Form:** Roller Ball Pen ## Images ![PILOT, G2 Premium Gel Roller Pens, Fine Point 0.7 mm, Blue, Pack of 5 - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71whGovMfxL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Where can I Buy refills for G2 07 blue ink?** A: Amazon has a 12 pack (6-2ct)/ Blue refills currently. I bought this item, about two months ago. **Q: Looking for a decent pen to write out wedding invitations. Also a lefty so need one that doesn't smudge. Is this a good pen for that sort of thing?** A: I am a lefty and cannot use G2 pens. Not only do they smudge a lot, but at the angle I write, the roller ball gets stuck in the ball point and doesn't write with smooth lines. Sometimes no ink comes out then a big blob of ink. **Q: I've had serious and frequent leakage problems. They work fine at first, and then, periodically they leak. Have any of you had leakage problems?** A: I've used the G2 for many years with various colors. Great pens. (Wish they made a refill for the G2 Mini tho). If I store them upright/vertical with the point down, like in a pen hold can, ink will pool around the point, especially with the bold. If I lay them flat or better yet, vertical with the point up, never had a problem, works great. **Q: Is this point 5 or point 7 ink pen?** A: This is consider as fine point 0.7mm. ## Customer Reviews ### āāāāā Write well with no smudging *by D***T on August 9, 2026* Pens last long, very smooth to write with.
