Beautiful book, inspiring story
This wonderful book tells the story of Shaesta Waiz, who fled Afghanistan with her family and came to the US as a child. As she grew, her dreams grew along with her and she overcame many challenges to become the youngest woman in history to fly around the world in a single-engine plane, and the first woman from Afghanistan to do so. Pimm worked directly with Shaesta on her story, and tells the story with a clarity that will inspire young readers to follow their dreams. The illustrator has beautifully communicated the pluck and tenacity of Shaesta.

What an inspiring book!
I love this book. It's an incredible story of a young refugee girl who has a dream to do great things, but is also shy and fearful. She does everything she can to conquer her fear and fulfill a dream of becoming a pilot. Once a pilot, she soon dreams to fly solo around the world. Shaesta Waiz is an inspiration to everyone and this book should be in every child's hand to show that hard work CAN make dreams come true.

Follow her journey from a refugee camp to the skies over the Atlantic Ocean as she made her dreams come true and inspired youth along the way. Inspiring for my granddaughters
We're an aviation family and even the little granddaughters are interested. They face-timed me when they opened the package and I got to hear my 7 yr old grand read the book to me cover to cover.
