Cost more but meets OEM specs
My X300 was breaking and shredding belts. Turns out it was the cheap Chinese made belts I’d ordered off of Amazon. Chinese knockoff belts (labeled to fit the X300 42” deck) were too short (out of spec) and causing all my problems. I switched to this OEM belt and problems with belt breakage immediately stopped.

Perfect replacement
It is a quality belt. Go for quality when replacing the them. This appears to be the OEM brand for JD and I have not had any problems since last summer.

Original Equipment Manufacturer - worth the price!
I tried and tried many other belts that were half the price but I got less that half my money's worth especially when you consider the time and energy to replace the belts. From hitting a branch to overheating the belt, the cheaper versions just never last.This OEM version is durable and and worth the price.
