These worked great for me...better option than splicing into factory wiring
These worked great for me. It comes with five 15A fuses as well. Basically, I got 5 of these from Amazon for the same price as one from my local auto parts place. I also found it a better option than trying to cut in and/or splice into the factory wiring (as suggested by others). Less headache and simpler. Then, when I sell or get rid of the vehicle, I can simply remove these and take them & my device with me (& install in another vehicle if needed)I used one in my 2007 Honda Odyssey to hook up a Kenwood AUX device to my radio. I placed the Kenwood equipment under the driver seat and then ran its power wires to the fuse box area in the lower left area (by foot pedals). As instructed by retailer I got it from, I tapped into the fuse that also controls the Odyssey's radio and 12V outlet. At first, I wasn't sure what the included 15A fuses were for. Simply thought I used just the 10A one currently in the fuse box and inserted into one of the two slots on these. However, this didn't work for me. Rather, I had to use BOTH the 10A and an included 15A fuse in this fuse tap in order to get all my parts (Kenwood, factory radio and 12 volt outlets) to work. I also had to apparently make sure they were in a certain order as well. So, if you put the fuses in and your items don't work, simply swap them in the fuse tap and hopefully that does the trick.Since I got 5 of them (and really only needed one for now), I am now also going to use some of the others in another vehicle that I want to hook up an audio accessory as well. And will STILL have some left over. Can't beat the price.

Worked great!
Worked like a charm. So much easier than tryingto find a wire to splice into, and can be removed without a trace. Found the circuit I wanted (switched, on key) pulled the original fuse, placed it in the add-a-fuse (bottom slot), put a fuse for my new accessory in the top slot, plugged the add-a-fuse into the now vacant slot in the fusebox. Insert the power lead from my new device into the provided crimp connector, crimp and Done! Just be sure to check the polarity (which side is hot) and plug the side of the add-a-fuse that is AWAY from the accessory lead into the hot side of the fusebox. Otherwise you will be adding the load from the new accesory to the original fuse. The easy test is to install the add-a-fuse with only a fuse for the new accessory in the top slot. Test for voltage on the pigtail. If there is power on the pigtail you're good, if not rotate the add-a-fuse 180 degrees and test again. Don't forget to install the fuse for the original device you're "piggybacking" onto in the bottom slot of the add-a-fuse, and the total load (original plus new accessory) should not exceed 30 amps or you might melt the connector in the fusebox.

Easy to use but hard to replace adapter fuses
I bought this so I could tap into one of the switched fuses so my power outlet would turn off when the car turned off. This really helped simplify the process because all I needed to do was plug it into the fuse slot I wanted to tap. I took off a star because the fuse slots on the adapter itself are really tight. I needed to replace a fuse on the adapter and I had to use a pair of pliers to rip it out of there. I was afraid I'd break the fuse I was struggling so much with it.

Perfect to splice into the fuse box
Excellent price and well worth the cost of same day delivery since I wanted to install a boost gauge in my Subaru Forester. Super easy to use and installed the gauges in only a couple of minutes. It didn't work the first time so I unplugged these completely, turned the unit 180 degrees and it fired up perfectly. Highly recommended and at a very good cost considering how quickly they came. Product of high quality, although a little hard to install the fuses for some reason. Not a huge deal but something worth noting.

This was awesome since my dash cam comes on and off with ...
I ordered this after a similar product proved too short to reach the connectors on my 2005 Accord's interior fuse box. I was able to use this to wire up a dash cam to be powered by an unused circuit which was actually meant for the rear power windows (I have the coupe). This was awesome since my dash cam comes on and off with the ignition and even stays on for a little bit after I turn off the car since the car powers the windows for around 10 minutes or until I open a door. Installation was easy and the fit was correct. I put a 5A fuse in instead of the 15A ones it came with since the dash cam uses very little power. The fuse fit is very tight as others have stated but I'm very happy with the product overall.
