Much like Hilfiger's yellow tie with blue dots, this is another striking tie with a classic pattern and contemporary feel. When paired well, your colleagues/clients/passersby will be impressed. It ties well in multiple knots, and fits perfectly right to the middle of my belt buckle very reliably. Highly recommended for anyone building an arsenal of different ties for work or other purposes.

At $25 this tie is perfectly fine to have in the average work week rotation. It's not as flimsy as the cheap no-name brands from Asia, but like any time frequent use will wear it down. The price is just OK. I dont consider $25 an exceptional value since I see similar brands at Marshall's and Ross for $20-25, but I wouldnt say $25 is expensive either.I wear a lot of times for work and I personally wouldn't wear this one if I were hoping to impress somebody. Nor would I expect to receive compliments from the ladies. It's a classic design intended to be acceptable in most settings that require wearing a tie.But it is far from a "power tie" and doesnt stand out.On the other hand, if you're a teenager who's never worn a tie and unlikely to need one again apart from a special ocassion this tie does the job. All the grandma's and aunties will definitely tell you "how sharp you look, young man!"

This is a Tommy Hilfiger tie, so I knew that it would probably be a great quality tie. It looks even sharper in person. The red/blue stripes are classic, making this a staple in any collection. Amazon has decent prices for Tommy Hilfiger ties, and with Prime shipping, avoiding the last-minute holiday rush in stores completely justified the price point.
