Great story to encourage an awareness of rhyme and has repetitive phrases the children can join in with.

I love this book, it's got everything. A good rhyming timbre, bright, bold visuals and a good engaging story plot for the kids. one they ask for again and again.

The children enjoyed dancing to the CD. Used for book week with nursery. Made a change from Handa’s surprise but could still do fruit tasting

My 3 year old stood in a queue recently and recited the entire book. I think that says it all. We've also made the fruits and acted it out as well as buying the fruits it mentions to try.I can highly recommend this book for its style, artwork, moral stance and guaranteed snuggle time!

Our daughter loves this book, she finds it funny. Should be a hit with any child around 4 years old. We borrowed it so many times from the library, we just have to buy a copy of her own.

My son loves sing along books, but initially Tico Tango was not a favorite. I walked him through the story of Tico Tango and now he LOVES it and we are a full month into a Tico obsession. This song book has a story arc (more so than than most sing along books), and I believe that is why he loves it so much as it is both song and story. The music is excellent.
