I have tried a few waist trainers and sorry I do not care for them at all. Only 1 post-partum waist wrap has ever worked and that came from a hospital paid for by my insurance. This however, instantly slims and fits nicely underneath clothing. Your body in it, will not look like the picture, but do not let that discourage you (if you're one of those people who compare their bodies to a model's still in 2020 DON'T!).The bulk of the clasps are apparent when wearing fitted-clothing. So I'd suggest wearing it with loose or baggy clothes, but it is wearable outdoors either way (preferential). The material is sort of like spanx, stretchy and silk-like, thin but not too thin.I wear it regularly for exercise or when sleeping and it has been AMAZING. When I first begun using I ordered a medium and was 151lbs (pandemic weight gain). So at 5"2, getting my body back to it's original state was paramount. This does not give a tight hold, which makes it incredibly comfortable for daily use and easy to take off or put on. The hold is minimal and it just molds to your shape, but it's good for exercise and back straightening, awake or during sleep. With strenuous/extreme exercises the shoulder and chest clasp would pop off repeatedly (more so the chest strap), but I still prefer this over bodysuits with no adjustable straps. I used the third clamp from the beginning of use and now it is loose fitting, so I came back to it, to order a small. I have lost significant inches around my stomach but I also put a corset on top of it overnight.I like using this with the corset because it has contributed towards giving my body an overall more evenly put shape. I wouldn't contribute all the credit solemnly to this item, but I use it, so I would absolutely recommend. Using it underneath the corset not only sucks in everything but when I take it off I don't have the lace imprints or any other imprints I would normally have using the corset alone.Everything isn't for everyone, but I've come to appreciate that quick fixes just weren't good enough for me and putting the work in consistently produced unimaginable results. My bodies' transformation is better than it was before I even had kids. My back is less achy (also plank contributed), my shoulders less broad and my breast have slightly lifted, which I appreciate even more being a mum of 3. Nicknamed Dolly and Pamela as a kid, my breast were always huge 36ddd-38ddd (with or without weight gain), now they are a steadily 36dd, 5"2, 118lbs! From 41,37,36, to 36,29,35)!Normally it would have taken longer but with this, my goal was reached faster with the same exercise regimen I have used for years! People are use to my petiteness so because no one truly noticed the difference I didn't bother to take pics. A body transformation did not occur to me until my body has changed was apparent through old and newly purchase clothing. Regardless this is the closest I am to social media so I wanted to share, even it's through words!

This is very nicely made for the price. I used the chart to find my size and went with a medium. I am on the smallest setting of hooks and if it stretches at all I will need to go to a small. I think it is actually a shorter length than pictured. I am only 5'3 and normally wear size 2 jeans. The length of this garment sits in the middle of my thigh. The picture looks 3-4 inches longer. I would prefer it to be longer and the hem is a bit tight which shows through clothes. A wide stretch lace edge would be better I think. For the price I shouldn't gripe at all because it is very nicely made and comfortable in every other way. I might modify the hem edge to see if I can improve it.Update...I ended up ordering a small which does fit better. As an improvement, I removed the hem and it is much less visible under clothes and doesn't cinch in the leg as much. I still think stretch lace would be a nice edge with no folded over hem and put some of the rubber underneath to keep it in place. Again for the price, I shouldn't gripe about it. Another observation is that the straps that go over the shoulder would be better if they were adjusted back to not cover the side of the breast so much. If the front strap was about 1 further back on each side it would be much better placement. A short torso version would be nice to have, but that would be asking too much.

Product Experience:Overall. smoothing look and feel. Fits like a glove. I Got XL, and wonder if I got a 2xl, would the torso fit a little longer. I'm 5'10, 189-193lbs (and am evenly proportioned) and even when adjusted, the shoulders pull and make my arms, boobs & shoulder fat bulge a bit. When I relieved the shoulder straps, the bulges disappear. Aside from the buldging... I must add that I do like the way it lift my boobs. I wear a 38/40C (thanks to a breast reduction 2 yrs ago) and it gave it a more minimal shapely look, without irritating my scars.I didn't get the 2xl, my primary purpose was to flatten stomach & in this XL, I can fit all 3 levels easily (with a half inch to spare). Afraid, the 2xl, will not have any stomach support I need.A little tight around the thigh, If not pulled up correctly, the wide open crotch can cause some inner thigh-muffin bulge. So be sure to pull it up as much as possible towards your crotch, to relieve that.I can say that it looks & feels as if it somewhat smooths my back rolls, but doesn't necessarily flatten them completely.Very Easy to get off!While standing... Definitely designed for crotchless or NO underwear, if you choose that route. The lower extremity opening, (on the particular size that I have), goes from the roota to the toota. Making it possible to do a number one and number 2 without taking it off. And without it getting messed up.While sitting... very comfortable, with no rolling up. Only one small con... the stomach area buckles a little bit.Overall: very nice and smoothing. I will be wearing under dresses, jeans or jumpsuits that don't cling to the thigh, so you won't see the seams.
