Untreated organic wool can absorb up to 40% of its own weight in moisture before feeling damp. And wool continues to give warmth even when it feels wet, unlike other textiles. Wool's natural lanolin content minimizes need for frequent washing. Many woolen items are treated with chemicals to make them machine-washable. No such chemicals are used on the wool which LANACare products are made of. Best care is to hand-wash occasionally in lanolin-replenishing soap. Formerly produced in Denmark, now made in the European Union country of Lithuania.

Luxury Viking baby
I absolutely love this and so does everybody else. It's so soft and cute. Makes your kid look like an angel / Viking baby. I've tested this in New England winters, right after I bring him inside from the cold and his skin is never cold. My son (17 months) doesn't try but couldn't even pull it off his head, unlike other hates. This does the job of protecting him between his hat and coat. It is stretchy but retains its form so you can pull it up over his nose in really cold weather or down under his/her chin as needed. It feels luxurious and I love telling people it's an import :) You'll love it..

Cozy and worth the $ in cold climates
Perfect fit for my 2mo daughter. I ordered the 0-3 size and recommend buying true to size. There is room to grow but the proper fit keeps her cozy when we are out in the Vermont winter. Better than a hat as it keeps out drafts around the neck and is soft and warm. Worth the investment if you are on the fence.

High quality winter essential for baby
Beautifully soft, warm, high quality wool balaclava. I live in Chicago and this has been essential to keep my toddler's head and neck warm in winter. This is my second one, I purchased a smaller size when my baby was 3 months old. Highly recommend!

Second time I’m buying this
Bought this first for my newborn, now for a 2-year-old. It’s perfect. Covers everything snugly, nice to the touch and convenient. Toddlers are so hard to dress, but this hat is quick, easy, warm and comfortable.

Warm, comfortable and great quality.
It is so incredibly warm and comfortable. My 2.5 year old isn’t a scarf kinda kid and this covers the head and neck area well. It’s never itchy like wool usually feels. It’s soft, warm, comfortable, easy on the go attire, and great quality.

This is a great winter cover up for my daughter's head. I would recommend this for balaclava for warmth and great coverage for baby's head, neck and ears. Looks very cute. I think merino wool is superior to putting acrylic or cotton made products on children in the winter.

Keeps baby warm and looks cute, so four stars for that. But if I had to buy another one I prefer the CeLaVi balaclavas because they're softer and the knit means that it doesn't fall over the baby's face as much.
