Something that is safe for everyday use (less breakable) yet nice enough tor special occasions. NOTE: the coffee mug/cup is NOT GRAY which I was happy to learn. The lighting for that photo most likely had shadows as I learned while taking my own photo. I received the order in just a few days. I ordered two sets for 8 place settings. One set was slightly damaged (one of the cups had a small but severe chip on the top edge-lip).
