The cover looks and fits exactly as oem.Take your time, and make sure to move the ir lens and flash diffuser from the old back to the new one. Use a heat gun on the underside of the stock glass to soften the adhesive, and work them off with an exacto knife. Use a little B-7000 glue to resecure them to the new back. Also, B-7000 works perfectly to secure the fingerprint scanner, and will also maintain the waterproofing of the phone. Also, take the time to remove ALL of the old adhesive from the phone. This will make sure that the new adhesive sticks properly. Once the new back is on, heat the edges and the adhesive areas at the bottom third of the phone, and beside the camera lens with a heat gun to help the new adhesive bond. Carefully squeeze/press around the edges to bond the new adhesive before it cools. The back on the Raspberry Rose (red) matches the OEM back exactly, minus the IMEI number, obviously.

Purchased to replace the broken back on my phone, and personalize slightly by replacing the factory grey it had with black. Kit came with more tools than needed, I only used the two plastic pry tools. You will have to pay attention to the small parts before you toss your old back glass, you MUST remove and transfer the fingerprint sensor, IR lens, and flash lens to the new back glass. There will be a small, camera shaped piece of double sided adhesive. You MUST clean the double sided adhesive from the original sensor and replace it.

I was replacing the USB port when I got in a hurry removing the back glass and broke it. I was happy to find a decent price on a new glass back, with adhesive already to go. I love when sellers include the tools, even if I don't use them, because I will need them at some point. I'm not going to test the water proof back, anymore than I would the phone itself. I did not like that I had to transfer parts from my other broken back, but no major issues.

While removing the cover of my phone to replace the USB port there was a small bit of adhesive in the top next to the camera that I missed. When I started to pull the cover up it cracked. I ordered this as a replacement and it fit perfectly as well as looks exactly like the original. I did remove the adhesive from the panel and I used a glue. That shouldn't be required, it's just my preference for sealing covers.

Looks and feels really nice, it sticks pretty hard. So make sure the replacenent is perfectly aligned. I made sure the bottom side fit very well but left a little gap on the top. Tried to realign but it was stock really good already and did not want to break the glass trying again. I used some heat from a hair dryer to pull out the firger print and other staff from the old glass. Placing everything together was easy. Does not come with instructions but the new one looks exactly the same as the old one so it was not hard to do it by myself.

I'm not sure if this is OEM quality, but it did work great. I recently replaced the battery on my G7 and my back glass had cracked in quite a few spots. This glass came with the adhesion strips already installed, which I 100% recommend. Even if my glass wasn't broken, I'd consider this just to get a better adhesion when putting the back glass back on.

Lol the reader and flash have to be transferred from the old unit... didnt realize it so had to remove it quickly before it stuck..the reader came right out but of course the flash broke.
