These are beautiful, very well crafted tools, packaged in a befitting manner. The fit of the bits on both the drivers and fasteners are excellent, very worth the price premium for this screwdriver set.

Excellent set of ratchet screwdrivers IF you know what to use it for. Remember, you want the right tool for the job. If you read the product description Chapman screwdrivers are primarily designed or intended for gun smithing, DENTAL work, LAB work. So what this is telling you? This set of bits is not heavy duty, but rather light, detailed, precise work being gun smithing, or otherwise. If you try to remove a stubborn screw or really tight one to the max torque possible, this set is NOT for you. You would be better off getting a screwdriver set from HD or Lws. This set is for light gunsmithing jobs. The good thing is, if you break a bit you can buy a replacement, instead of trying to replace a rare, unique screw in your gun collection. So, if you don't want to get disappointed be aware of the limitations of this tool. The set comes in a nice handsome case, the bits are organized, the ratchet is fantastic. There is also a little "wheel" if you will, to apply gentle pressure. So you can apply pressure using only your fingers, the little "wheel" the handle, the screwdriver handle or the ratchet. Just. All in all, it is a good set if you know what kind of jobs you can use it for.

This is my second from Chapman. The first one was a gift I got nearly 30 years ago... It still worked but over the years some bits went missing. So, I bought another one with more bits in it. These things are legit..........

Excellent product! Best quality screwdriver set I have bought. Precision tooling and superior materials and craftsmanship. Packaging made for a great presentation. I highly recommend this product to anyone who appreciates quality and craftsmanship sourced and manufactured in the USA.

This kit is very nicely done and well organized. I planned on using this for my guns, but it has other uses where good fitment of the bits in screws is required. One issue I did not like is the handle extension retainment. It uses a spring-loaded ball to hold the extension in-place by friction, there is no detent slot for that spring-loaded ball to fall into in the handle. I found the torx bits fit so tight into the torx screws that the handle extension will pull out of the handle. I brought this to the manufacturer's attention and immediately received a response and that they were sending out another extension immediately. Upon receipt of the new extension I noted it did not fix the problem, as there just is not enough friction between the spring-loaded ball and the smooth female portion of the handle where it is inserted. I replied to the manufacturer this did not fix the problem and a detent slot or notch should be machined into the handle. That email was sent to the manufacturer on April 9th and I have not received a response back, (Today is May 9th).

I purchased this set for gunsmithing and the bit quality is excellent. It comes with a wide assortment of flathead screw drivers and it seems I have the perfect fit for every screw. I’m very pleased with this bit set and the accessories.

American made!! And a must have if your working on gear.

These are great hollow ground gunsmiths tools. Bought for those pesky small screws on the Marlin. Decent quality, decent price and well packaged, so you can chuck them in your range back for on the fly repairs. Build quality seems good, and you have a great selection of different bits to fit any need you may have.

Excellent achat

Nice quality tools and good selection of bits. I had a little damage to the case in transit but I can live with that. So far I have stripped my winchester 94 and the bits left no damage on the screw heads and held well. Think it may live in my range bag from now on.

The bits and driver seem of good quality but the latch on the case snapped as soon as I tried to open it, leaving it unsecurable. Really cheap quality case for a set of well made (and not cheap!) tools.
