Tramontina Black Enamelled Cast Iron Casserole Dish | 24 cm (4 litre) | Indoor & Outdoor Use

I have made two sourdough loaves and each one has been amazing. Before the Dutch oven I used baking tray and ice cubes in base of oven to get a crust. Although bread always tasted nice it didn't get a good rise and didn't have a crusty bottom and top.Thought it time to invest and so glad I did. The pot can go in oven 220 degrees. I have another cast iron pot that would crack over 180, so this one is perfect.

Slightly bigger than I expected, and lighter than pots of the same size. This does the job well, but the exposed iron around the rim does tend to rust if you don't keep it dry. So far, nothing to complain about.Bought as 'damaged' as part of an Amazon Warehouse deal but I actually couldn't say any damage at all. Rather, it seems white lines appear across the surface, which simple rub off.

This is an indestructible cast iron casserole. I've used it 4-5 times, and by now it's nicely seasoned, nothing sticks to it, no scrubbing to clean, just warm water. The round bottom makes it easy to spoon the food out with a silicon scraper. Love it.

Making casseroles and chilli

Great pan! Since April been using nearly every day. Has a great seal around the lid cooking stews super fast, easy to clean, inside matches outside so there to emanel damage to worry! Tramontina is a great quality brand!

Usata per fare il pane nel forno. Risultato fantastico. Non ho fatto alcun trattamento iniziale e non si è attaccato.
