Ceres: Celestial Legend, Vol. 1: Aya

One of my all time favorites series. I love the mix of humor and the darker tone of the story. The main cast characters are vibrant and silly and wonderful. The villains are a little cliché sometimes but it still works, so I forgive it.And Aya, who grew on me more than I expected. I just want to give that girl the biggest hug.

When I bought this I had already seen the entire series on DVD from start to finish. So I know what it is about.This is definitely a series worth investing in. It has everything you need for a good series. It has a well defined plot, great characters, a love story, jealousy, action, and comedy. Yu Watase does a wonderful job of bringing all of these elements and more together.You'll definitely fall in love with (if your a girl) Toya. He is so mysterious. This first volume might not show it, but if you read on (or watch the series), then you'll see what I mean about Toya. The story line really hooks the reader because it starts out ordinary and ends up with worlds turning upside down.The colorful characters like Yuhi, Oda Kyu, and Suzumi are what makes this series funny.So, I would recommend that you read this book and continue to read more. Or if you can't do that, at least watch the series.

For a long time I was missing the first volume in my collection, because I had started reading the series in my school library, and proceeded to purchase other volumes from Borders.This series is one of my personal favorites, but probably not for everyone.It has a love triangle, a few deaths, and lots of twists and turns. The story wrapped me up immediately.

I really enjoyed this manga. When it was first published, I wanted to get it just because the covers were pretty. But that usually turns out bad when getting it just because it's pretty. When it came out in the graphic novel form I just decided to get it and see what it was all about, I really didn't expect much. But oh my, I was impressed. It's really interesting! I got my friend who doesn't even like anime and manga hooked on it! ^_^ I love how it can go from being so serious to animated and hilarious! This series is just awesome. ^_^ Can't wait till volume 2 comes out!

Book has small tear on the bottom but other than that it was in good condition

All time favorite manga. Read it back in early 2000s and am glad to see it on Kindle with crisp images.

I had read the first three volumes years ago, pleased to see I still enjoy the story and appreciate the beautiful images.

A nice addition to my collection. I've read this series many times and love it a lot.

I like the sort it self because Yuu Watase is awesome, how ever when I opened this book from the package the first 13 pages are colored in! It looks like coloring pencil so this has gravely disappointed me, but this is what happens when buying off the internet some times. So might be buying books more from a book shop then online.!
