I've had this for over a year now & it's still in great shape. My dog has a play pen & prefers his cage. I put his cage in front of the pen & leave the door open so he can go in either one & I tried taking his bed out of the cage & putting it in the pen & he STILL got in the cage. So needless to say HIGHLY recommended for small dogs .
