Sounds great! Easy semi-permanent installation!
I’ve never been a fan of acoustic pickups but I feel like humbucker style pickups do the best job of sounding great. I needed something fast for a live performance so I picked this up after watching video reviews. Very simple, just plugged it into a DI box. Slips into the soundhole without having to loosen the strings, which was important because I own two acoustic guitars that have no built in electronics. They are vintage guitars so I didn’t want to permanently attach anything either, this works great for what I wanted.

Great alternative to drilling!
I have a 1976 Takamine "lawsuit" acoustic guitar. It sounds great, but its value is mostly sentimental to me, so I don't want to drill it. The Fishman Humbucker is a great alternative. Really nice sound, and I found it to be perfectly loud enough through a Bose S1 Pro. Super easy to install and I don't have any issues with the cord hanging out of the soundhole. I would definitely recommend it for these reasons. Price is right too.

Impressive!
I didn’t have great expectations for this type of pickup so I was pleasantly surprised at how great it is. It installs in seconds, is very safe for your guitar finish and it sounds awesome. I plugged directly into an acoustic amp and was immediately impressed with the results. This is the perfect solution for those of us who don’t want to drill holes, etc. It can be easily move amongst all of my guitars. I got the Humbucking version and highly recommend it.

Not too shabby, once you modify it.
Sound is great, a little quiet but it does a good job of evenly picking up all of the strings. I also have a K & K pure mini and this is much better at accurately reproducing the acoustic sound of the guitar, but I needed something to go into an amp that wouldn't feedback so humbucker it was. If you're looking to really get a great acoustic guitar sound I would recommend going for a bridge or mic pickup instead. I did test this up against a Seymour Duncan Woody and this thing blows that out of the water, at least on my guitar. The only thing I would change is to make the cord removable. Because it's permanently attached to the pickup and the pickup screws into place with a philips head screwdriver, it that means that either you always have a cord hanging off your guitar, or you have to carry a screwdriver with you and unscrew the pickup to remove it when you're not using it. I ended up clipping the cord and inserting my own jack mid-line which works fine but it would be preferable to just have some sort of jack built into the pickup itself. On another note, it's recommended for the sake of the finish on the guitar not to leave it on all the time, so maybe they should just change the way that it installs so that you don't need a screwdriver. On that note, maybe they could make it adjustable too because when I first installed the pickup it was too high and was hitting the strings so I had to take a razor blade and slice off about half of the cork on the top side to get it down far enough that my strings wouldn't come in contact with it. I have a luthier guitar though so this might not be an issue for a factory instrument. So I guess, it does it's job well enough though you may have to do some custom mods to make it work for you.

With Boss ME-70 and Fender Amp
Very happy with it. It arrived quickly and installs and uninstalls easily. I purchase it for experimentation in the studio. My Yamaha DW-5 6 string comes out in the morning, gets played on and off all day in various rooms of the house, and gets put away at night. I realized that even though the pickup goes on and off quickly, I just didn't want to deal with it regularly. And without plugging in, it does detract from the sound, not to mention the wire. Then I remembered my $29 experimental / luthier practice guitar (Huntington) that mostly just collected dust. Now it's my favorite new toy. With the Neo D Humbucker played through my Boss ME-70 and Fender amp, it sounds fantastic (of course all my guitars do thanks to the ME-70). What sounded like a $29 guitar now has it's own unique character and great sound with lots of options for self-expression. A tough guitar to play, but improves my playing and makes playing the electrics and 12 string feel easy. Without the ME-70, the pickup simply takes the sound of the guitar and makes it louder and somewhat changes the sound. It sounds good, it's a great pickup, but by itself not what I needed in the studio. With the effects pedal, I now have another large set of virtual guitars. I'll be interested to see what it does with the 12 string.

5 stars for the sound, quality, and ease of install but received a used/returned Neo-D Humbucking.
5 stars for the sound, quality, and ease of install but I received a previously used/returned Neo-D Humbucking pickup (packaging was taped together and cable showed obvious previous usage and rewrapping). This was a sold by Amazon purchase.

Can't Beat It!
Fishman Neo-D Passive Soundhole Pickup - Humbucker I have a Yamaha 6 string from the mid 60's that sounds great. top of the line. It is a real pain sitting a mic next to it and trying to keep that perfect distance between the mic and the sound hole. I didn't want to have a hole drilled into my guitar, so this one was suggested to me. Yes you have a cord hanging down but that is much much better than having to deal with a mic in the way. No humm, no buzz, just that same great sound you get without a mic just comming through my amp (Fender Pro Reverb, tube, and a Fender Mustang 3) Easy to put in too. If you have any trouble figureing out how to get it in just go find a 6 year old and they will have it put in, in about 5 min. Two screws and slide it in, thats all. It would be nice if they had put in a volume control on it. But they didn't, so you can use the one on your amp. I plan on getting one for my Yamaha 12 string too (also mid 60's). If you want a pick up for your accustic guitar I would suggest this one.

Electrified at Last!
I've had a Yamaha FG-140 since I was 9 years old. 40 years later it is still one of my favorite guitars. I always wanted to get an acoustic pickup for it but didn't want to alter the guitar in an intrusive/permanent way. The Fishman Neo-D Passive Soundhole Humbucker pickup was the perfect solution. I just received it today and in a minute it was in place, ready to play. I plugged it into a Roland Jazz Chorus (JC) 120 amplifier and the guitar sounded clear and natural without any feedback or hum. The amplification is dead even on all six strings. I then switched on the chorus effect with some reverb (on the amp)and wow! The only drawback is it doesn't have a volume control. The Fishman Rare Earth Acoustic Humbucker does but for $60 less, this particular model sits very well with me. Fishman Rare Earth Humbucking Soundhole Pickup

Captador de boca violão
Bom captador.

The input impedance of the preamps is 20Meg ohm with 68pF load capacitance. It also floats at 4.5V which is fine for a piezo pickup. If the customer plans to connect a magnetic pickup to the Prefix, he will need to insert a 0.1uF capacitor (25V or higher) in series with the input (between the pickup hot and input hot)."
