Yellow Sealant Tape

Works with no leaks! Had issues with other gum tape so I tried this and it was easy to use!

Worked perfectly for filling the gaps in a ford 7.3 power steering reservoir and bleeder adapter to vacuum bleed, stuck strong peeled off clean and I can reuse it afterwards.

You know what this stuff is. Stickier than the mud you got your dirt bike stuck in and bent the forks and burned up the clutch in your pickup trying to get it out. Seals like how NASA likes it. Gummier than that 5 lb bucket with the baseball player on the label. It stretches! It bends! It sticks! Just don't use it in your Mom's oven kids, she'll get mad. It's the good stuff. Doesn't stick to your vac-bag too hard until you press it down or let it sit a spell. Did some resin infusion and this stuff sat against resin for a few hours with no ill effects whereas the cheaper thin, stiff, black stuff let right go and lost all vacuum. The only reason for the two layers in the first pick is because I reused that bag a few times and just sliced one side of the bag just inside the old tape. The reason for the Gobs of tape (and the need to quick ship another roll) was because as it turns out carbon fiber is porous therefore not airtight. Who knew. (Everyone knew Mike. Everyone. I just hoped it'd hold well enough... It didn't. So I sealed the buhjeesus out of it.) Just wish it were prime or at least lower shipping cost than the tape itself.

Reliable and works well. Make sure to let it warm to room temperature if the package was outside. However, these guys are not always careful with packaging and I have received crushed rolls that were smushed so each layer had to be peeled apart.

great vacuum tape

The tape itself is awesome. My only issue is the lack of packaging and as such the tape “melts”and slides all over the place. Regardless it works flawlessly. I used it to vacuume bag a hull repair on my sailboat. First use I cleaned all the way to the glass and prepped it with 80 grit and acetone. It worked perfectly!! Even with the vacuums storage bags. After several other projects I have gotten lazy and I don’t even prep the surrounding area and it still grips perfectly on abative bottom paint. As a side note I used it in my shower to glue a glass shelf to hold shaving stuff and in a year, under hot water, hasn’t moved at all and is still solid to the touch.

Good heavy tape, has plenty of body for confirming to surfaces and sealing a bag. Note my application was not particularly high vacuum, but I have high confidence it would perform well.

Great tape quality and a big role I can use for awhile I recommend
