### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The perfect access point IMHO
*by S***T on August 29, 2016*

I own 3 of these wonderful Access points now. It's been more than 15 years I try to get the ideal Wifi coverage in my houses. I bought almost all brands, including Ruckuss (professional grade access point)Can believe me, quality of the signal is just a very little bit under a Ruckuss R600 and bandwidth is far much better. (I download regularly above 15Mo/s with this Wifi in AC) The roaming is just ... Wonderful! Skype conversation through my house is now always possible for the first time in my life.Remains Cloudtrax portal, which is a breath to use. automatic updates are perfect. I have suggested to add the ability to deactivate all LED coze they are very bright. it can be annoying during night if the Access Point is in your room for Eg.For sensible professional usage, I don't know if cloudtrax is secured enough. If someone from Open-mesh can contact me, I would be more than pleased to discuss this point with him/her. I could push my company (lot's of warehouses) to use these AP instead of crazy Expensive Ruckuss + Controller + licence, we use now (And we use more than 600 Access points for now in South East Asia)Thanks for this device, it is just the perfect Access point in my opinion.Stephan

### ⭐ Unreliable
*by A***K on November 6, 2015*

Decided to give this a shot since it is about half the price of a Meraki MR18 or Aerohive 130, which I'm currently evaluating for a multiple site WiFi rollout.Nice interface and very easy to set up, but unfortunately, our MR1750 kept losing Internet connectivity several time a day and could only be brought back by power cycling, so I will have to give it one star, as this is not ideal in any environment, no matter how easy it is to set up and manage.

### ⭐⭐ High Hopes Dashed Today
*by W***U on July 31, 2017*

1 year and 5 months I have had this. I am using this at my home as a test before allowing customers to use it. I really liked the interface. I like it better than Ubiquiti.Today the 802.11AC went out. This morning I was only having trouble with a laptop that was running on AC. Eventually got it working by running the laptop WiFi in A/B mode. Honestly thought at first it was the laptop WiFi. Then later on I was having some strange behavior. So I finally decided I may as well try the BETA firmware. It appeared to be working however it was not stable on AC. Internet connectivity would come and go. After playing around with the settings I finally threw in the towel as this unit is just outside of warranty and I refuse to buy another one.The Ubiquiti units I have placed with similar specifications have always blown this out of the water. I truly had high hopes for it due to the CloudTrax Web Interface. At this point that is all I can say that is great about this product.Early on I fought b/g issues and that was corrected eventually with a firmware release however I have had to power cycle this device at least 5 times since I installed it.I haven't had to do this much with every other WiFi I have running at customer sites.Honestly I'm willing to give Open-Mesh another chance in the future if they can resolve reliability issues. The truth is every manufacturer has experienced this which is why I may give them another chance on a future product. The 1 year warranty is too short in my opinion, especially considering it is nearly double the price as the UniFi Pro AC which also has a 1 year warranty. Also the UniFi comes with it's own injector. Both the Ubiquiti and OpenMesh are attractive options due to their price points. If you choose to buy this just understand you may need to replace some hardware down the road. If you are planning a large mesh network this may still be a decent option.Last item to note is this device did get pretty darn warm. So try to place it in as cool as a place as possible as there are not cooling fans in the unit.
