It's basically a exact copy of the Klon Overdrive pedal that is considered the best overdrive ever made and goes for thousands if you can find one. The Oxblood sounds just like it and has added features. If you're looking for the "Marshall" sound or if you want your Marshall to sound great at any volume level, get this pedal. I also own the "Marshall Governor," a later version, and the Oxblood blows it away. I'm so impressed with this little pedal. Buy it and you will be too. I use it live on my Marshall 900 half stack on the clean channel and on my practice amp, a Fender Twin Tone Master and the guitar sounds the same. It doesn't compress the sound like most overdrive pedals. You have the full sound of the guitar.
