Eddie Murphy is the fast talking con-artist Rayford Gibson and Martin Lawrence is the conservative bank teller Claude Banks. The two are accidentally teamed up to become the funniest "odd couple" east of the Mississippi. In an effort to pay off Ray's debt and restore Claude's reputation, they travel south on a bootlegging run for some quick cash. There is no limit to their comical misfortune as they are placed at the scene of a crime and their mistaken identity lands them right in front of the judge. Very interesting
The movie offers a very interesting perspective into our society during a very rough and sad period of our past. The plot is well written and of course the acting is off the charts. Some aspects of the movie is Hollywood over dramatization; however, there are basic truths to what is portrayed. I didn't live during the time period in this movie set, but I did live during the 60's. The movie puts a comical twist for entertainment, but presents some solid historic revelations.

Love this movie and the price was great, but the shipping was amazing! On purchase it showed that it would take 1 week to arrive which meant we wouldn’t be able to watch it with the friend who was visiting from out of town...but it was delivered 2 days! Now we can watch it together so that’s awesome :)

Mag den Film. Hatte ihn hier versehentlich bestellt, er war ewig im Einkaufswagen weil ich ihn vor Jahren mal gesehen hatte und ihn mir mal wieder geben wollte. Aber wie das halt so ist, wanderte er mal auf die Merkliste und wieder zurück und, ich weiß nicht wie es kam, keine Ahnung ob die Amazon App n bissl hakte oder mein Handy n bissl rum sponn oder ich einfach zu schnell geklickt, war er dann plötzlich irgendwann da, ich dachte er hmm, vllt ein Versehen, und da fiel mir ein das er absolut nicht versehentlich im Einkaufswagen war und wegen ca. 5 Tacken ,,beschwert" man sich nicht, wollte ihn ja sowieso auf kurz oder lang bestellen.Rückwirkend war es ein tolles ,,Versehen". Nachdem er n Zeit lang dauerhaft im Regal war, habe ich ihn mir seitdem ein ums andere Mal wieder gegeben, und kann behaupten das er nicht nur mein liebster Murphy und auch Lawrence Film ist, sondern auch einer meiner Lieblingsfilme überhaupt.Der Film ist wirklich verdammt lustig, von daher reinschauen lohnt sich

E' una commedia è vero, ma è anche una storia incredibile di amicizia.Questi due geni della comicità ( eddie murphy e martin lawrence si adattano a meraviglia a mio parere. Non si ride tutto il film ma ci sono gag veramente stupende e la lotta per la libertà di un classico film carcerario non risulta tuttavia banale, anzi coinvolge.Gran film
