Work great my daughter loves them in her room.Great lighting and choice of colour.

Setup all fine. List remote and thought “hay well control it from smartphone just like the other LED strip lights we have. Then the remote will eventually turn up”. NO smartphone control. So lights are useless until we hunt down the remote. We have kids so things go missing sometimes.I personally won’t recommend this due to no smartphone control. I have other LDE strips in the house and I control them all via my iPhone.

The media could not be loaded.  These lights: 2 x 5m LED colour changing strips are such fun! They are adjustable with the remote control. You can have fading, colour changing, flashing, or all of these. You can make them brighter and dimmer. There is a DIY option to program your own light sequence (although there are no instructions).Yes, I said no instructions. There are one or two words on the box but otherwise you're guessing how to make these work. I'd advise anyone buying these to refer to the product description on this page as it basically describes what you have to do. Although I wouldn't feel confident cutting these LED strips without proper instruction. They are simple and straight forward to get going. Then it's just a case of rolling them out, peeling the backing from the sticky back of the light strip and applying to the cleaned surface. The lights can be used outside as the LED strips are water proof however the product description states the adapters and connectors are not water proof.I've put them on our kitchen shelving to highlight our glass bottle collection. The hardest part of applying these was the dusting I had to do.They're just good fun lighting and priced correctly.

It has all a lot of accessories to allow you to configure the LED light to your liking. The quality of the product is pretty standard, the strips itself also has an IP65 rating. The LED lights have adhesive strips at the back where you can stick it to a surface. The LED strips can also be cut and adjusted and using the solderless connector cable it can even be extended with future products. The LED strips have a really pungent superglue like smell to it which i believe should fade away as time goes by.Regarding overall usage this product produce nice vivid light, adding a nice touch to your living space. You can also take it a step further, the remote gives you ultimate control to change the colours, dim the brightness, set an effect, speed up or slow down a transition and even turn the product on/off. There's a cool DIY feature the enables you to create a colour that you want.Overall, this is a fantastic product to add a little colour and create an amazing ambience in your space. I ran the set around the underside of my shed roof, actimg as a moodlight band, driven from protected led driver inside... and all was well... they were fine, until the recent 29 degree days of summer where they have just stopped working after being baked all day. :(The other set i used inside, again as a mood light, around the inside of a conservatory, this set still work fine, so it wascsome outsude factor, id habe thought after rain, but it was sun that dud them in. Ive not checjed tge IP65 spec, so your milage may vary.The remaining set, and indeed the other before their failure, worked great. You get great colour range and vibrant colours as well as presets on the remote.
