Live At The Royal Albert Hall

Stunning reproduction
I bought the Vinyl version of this album and wow! I have always been a fan of Heart but their collaboration with The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra has taken them to another level. The quality of this pressing (180gm Black virgin vinyl) is brilliant. The acoustic guitar notes on some of the tracks are stunning and the Wilson sisters voices, especially on the quieter tracks have so much clarity and detail. Don't always like live peerformances but for the most, this is excellent.

A mixed bag
There is some really good stuff on this CD but as another reviewer pointed out, the singers are not the best and they aren't helped by some of the song choices. On disc 2 especially they feature too much for my liking. All in all this is a decent listen but is far from the best live album from James Last. Better options are Gentleman of Music and, if you want real classic Last, Live from London which features the band at their absolute peak in the 70's.

Great album
Quick delivery and excellent customer service. This is a great live double album by Heart and a good recording, well recommended.

Must read for any real James Last fan
Having been a Hansi fan since the mid 60's when I first heard American Patrol at a Stereo Demonstration evening, I wasn't in any way disappointed with this autobiography.Hansi, his real name for anyone who doesn't already know, relates the way he selects and interacts with all his musicians in a way that I doubt anyone else can.

James the Master
Perhaps the best DVD I have in my collection. The music is varied to entertain every taste. The magic that is James Last shines through as usual. Can't recommend this highly enough.
