It is very thin and see through and not waterproof, I used it under gravel for weed control .

does this come in different lengths ? Can it be used to cover a wood table for it to become fire retardant. ?

It should come in different lengths, and I do not see why it cannot be used for over a wooden table.

I used it to finish the underside of my upholstered chair which is what the fabric is designed for. Don’t know why you would need to wash it?
