Lenikis Unisex Outdoor Activities UV Protecting Sun Hats with Neck Flap

Believe me, I've tried around 6-8 of these hats from China and this one is the best overall for the following reasons:1. Most fit too small for my head (I have a 60 cm head or considered LARGE size in the U.S.). I have hats with a stiffer brim but they barely fit my head properly (too shallow), or the hat fits too tight. Simply put, this hat fits securely and comfortable on my head.2. This hat has a cord to hold it on your head and the cord isn't easy to come off by mistake.3. The hat has an infinitely adjustable fit because it uses an adjustable cord thingie on it like you see on jackets. It doesn't use an elastic band which will stretch out over time.4. Some users complain of the flexible brim. True it flies up while riding a bike and it's windy but if it was stiffer the whole hat would come off.5. Some users complain of the cheap material but all the hats from China are like this. I've worn this hat every weekend for 6 months and washed it 3X and it's just as good as new. None of the stitching have come undone.6. Some users complain about it being 100% polyester and not cotton but synthetic material is more durable.7. More on the brim: it is a long one so gives good shade coverage.8. This hat is packable and can be folded. Some hats I have with a stiffer brim cannot be folded, or need to have a crease in them for this purpose, or the hat must be rolled to reduce it's size.9. Finally, the flaps at the back do not sit close to your head like other hats of this kind. In real humid weather they get soaked with sweat and feel clammy against your neck. Some flaps also drape too far forward on the sides and obscure vision if you are riding a bike. The flaps on this hat keep out of the way and are effective at keeping the sun off your neck.Earlier versions did not have the 'Lenikis' logo embroidered on the front. I know because I bought several spares. But that comes with the territory with these Chinese products changing factories so often, or deriving from a dubious source.

Bought this bad boy for the hubs since he always gets sunburn on his neck. This hat worked well and love the front bill. It's a bit too large for maneuvering tight spaces BUT it works out well everywhere else.My little issue is I wish the back cover was a bit longer, just a couple more inches since my husband is a bit tall (6'5"). For the price, this hat is perfect!

I have bought this before. Perfect for doing outside work in southwest Florida. Where we get the hot humid sunny weather 10 months out of the year. And if you keep this damp by dipping in pool or hose, it will keep you cool if your cutting grass or cooking a BBQ, or even building a pagoda.When your out in the sun for hours upon hours you do not realize hot burned your neck or nose is getting, Or even how dehydrated you are. This hat is a godsend. We keep many hats around for yard working, pool play, or just BBQing. You have to protect, protect, protect. This hat is specifically designed to cover ears, and neck.

After a few weeks and 8 hikes, I decided to return the hat. Issues: Brim is very cheap, the outer material separates from the stiff insert material and hangs loose and floppy like a deteriorated car headliner. The neck flap is slightly too short and doesn't reach low enough to actually shield my neck (why I bought it). The color shifted from gray to lavender after time in the sun and a rinse in plain water to manage the sweat build up. Fits a bit too snug with the elastic adjustment cord fully loose, hoped it might loosen but hasn't. I would have kept it if the brim and color change issues hadn't occurred.

Hat just spent the last three months on my head for 10 hours a weekend for an outdoor job. Protects the neck perfectly, keeps the neck warm on cool days, brim is long enough to shield eyes from the sun. Other perks: hat protects head during light rain, keep head warm when the temperature dips below 70, keep it cool but protected in hot (above 80) weather.

This is the best kind of hat for sun protection. The hat covers the back of your neck, and the bill of the hat is rigid so it doesn't flop down on your forehead when it gets wet. The drawstring helps keep it in place, so you don't have to fuss with your hat while doing an activity, whether its wading in the pool, hiking, or gardening. I bought this for my hubby in anticipation of our upcoming beach and hiking trip.

Worn to hike to the bottom of the Grand Canyon. Lightweight, great protection from the sun and adjustable so that my husband and two young sons could all wear them and enjoy a perfect fit.

I have tried several hats to keep the sun off of me but all were uncomfortable because they fit too tight. My head has a circumference of 23 inches. This hat fits very well and is extremely comfortable. It is well made and in my opinion is very stylish. I love it so much I have ordered another in the light gray color. I highly recommend this hat!

I wear this for work all day in direct sun, high heat, and windy conditions. Of all the types of hat that I've tried, this very light and fitted design stays put the best while i'm moving around. It's also the hottest, because of the unvented synthetic material that sit directly on the top of your head. However, I still wear it most days because it provides full shade for your face and neck, and you don't have to think about it, touch it, or adjust it, even in gusty winds. I recommend this if you work in a temperate (no hotter than 35 degrees) climate.

Wow, the best of the Chinese sun hats, IMHO. Maybe could be a TAD on the small side for many, but a perfect fit for me. My hatband circumference is 23" / 59 cm. Excellent quality fabric, construction - and a really INTELLIGENT DESIGN
