Cuts down the click noise by 50%
If you have properly isolated your fuel pump, this dampener reduces the clicking noise and thump by half. It is a great and easy addition.

Doesn't work and cost me thousands
Had someone put this on the pump to my webasto. Did nothing to stop the ticking noise. In fact, it may have gotten louder. About a month later, my webasto stopped working and threw the H02 error. Because the webasto is under my passenger seat and the pump is located under the van behind a heat shield I had to hire a webasto installer to figure out what was wrong. He had to remove my passenger seat, remove the heat shield and pull the unit out to diagnose the problem. The cheap piece of plastic was clogged. Cost me $1200 to get this done. This product should be banned.

Simple solution to minus a little Db
It definitely dampens the sound. I can still hear the tick out side the travel trailer. But inside where it’s important. I can no longer hear it.

Doesn't really work
Makes it sound less of a thud thud thud and more of a click click click. Not much noise reduction. Better to just wrap a towel around the pump. Definitely not worth the price. 2 stars instead of one because it does SOMEthing, but not much.

Caused Error in heater
I installed the product, but it created pressure problems in fuel line and caused my heater to stop working. It did reduce the noise but was not worth the constant malfunction problems. I took it off, and everything went back to working fine.

Reduces heater performance at altitude
It is important to use a hard line to the heater so the fuel pulses are not dampened. This damper made my heater smoke at startup far more than without. Removal of this damper fixed the startup smoke issue. If you are at low altitude (boat etc...) this may still work well for you. Reduction in sound is around 25-50%.

Cut off flow of gas to heater
My heater stopped working after a few weeks. After tearing everything apart I found out that this dosing pump damper was the issue. The nipple that connects to the fuel line on the exit had fully seized closed and was not allowing gas to pump. Ideally I would be refunded for this product

Not a pump silencer, but MIGHT reduce noise...
These units are not intended as pump silencers. Not sure why people have that opinion. They will however cut back on the energy/shock in the fuel delivery line which will reduce the noise transmission through the heater itself. It will also reduce noise of the fuel line if it's touching your chassis and transmitting noise that way.It will not make the pump itself quieter. It simply reduces the energetic impulse transmitted out of the pump. You still need to isolate and vibration damp your pump to solve the issue. A combination of mass dampening (those stupid looking cases), an extremely soft mount between the case and the mounting surface, (I used the sample material squares that came with my purple mattress), and this damper will still not silence the pump but should be enough to stop it from transmitting the shock of the pulses through your structure or chassis.
